Excellent modem with much needed Ethernet ports. Compatible with various of ISPs(Charter/Spectrum). Definitely one of the best modem you can purchase without spending a lot of money

I've stuck with a separate modem + router setup for several years now. The SURFboard series has been pretty reliable, and this one is no exception. The only complaint, and the reason I marked it down a star, is that I'm not getting the full gigabit speed I ordered.

Works as advertised. The two ethernet ports make it confusing to know which one to use. I picked the wrong one to start with, but switched ports and it worked fine.

If you are looking for an excellent router to have the best speed on the Internet, this is the product you should have. I use it for 250MB and it works perfectly without losing quality. Easy to install

Northland gave us a crappy modem. Replaced with this one and all our problems are mostly gone. Rock solid since I installed it, no problems, no complaints, it does the job.

Very Good Modem, we are running 1200+MBPS and works excellent. Highly recommended.

This modem works really well. I have never really had any issues with it, and usually by this far in (for me about 9 months) if there will be, they present themselves. Works really quickly if you have a high-tier internet plan. Definitely overkill if you're not getting >=500mpbs, however. One thing I'm knocking it for is that the Netgear products I stick to (at the time of purchase, there were shortages of everything) usually have additional services that you can use to do home monitoring; Arris does not offer these. For DIYers this is no big deal but if you're not a techie I think the Netgear offerings are actually quite valuable. I'm not dinging the stars because it's not relevant to the product's functionality, but I will say it's kind of ugly and I hide mine under my desk.

Purchased this modem in April 2023. Fast transmission and wifi never seemed to have issues with multiple users/devices. It was dependable and rebooted quickly when power or disruptions from tje provider occurred. •But the unit failed New Years morning, 2025, and when the Specteum tech arrived and serviced/ checked the line we verified the modem failed and was not receiving nor transmitting, so they replaced with one of their modems. This doesn’t make it worth rhe cost. •It was connected to a surge protector/sine wave UPS so it cannot be blamed on a power surge.

The modem was easy to install; it works well for all our internet 'stuff" and we do have several things today that require internet connection. Great purchase price as well.

Got this modem to replace my Comcast modem I was tired of paying rent on this piece of equipment. I have had no problems with this new modem. It is doing what it is suppose to do, connecting me to the internet.

The last Arris modem that I had worked well, but we started having some issues after about a year so I replaced it with this one. It works great and was easy to set up.

Bought this to replace my netgear modem that I was having to reboot way too many times and so far this modem is working great. I haven't had it that long but I am happy so far.

I tried a few different modems and this particular modem is performing quite well. In our household we have over 20 wired and wireless devices. All working steady and great.

If your internet provider has increased your speed you probably need to update your modem and this one works great.

Moving into my first apartment and not alto of money to spare, I was advised to purchase this product, and I have not had any issues with it so far! Easy set up and good connectivity.
