Changed our life with its reliability for COX internet. We were using COX provided modem for internet and our reliability was awful. I purchased this modem and upgraded to GIG speed and it’s been flawless! Had COX tech use a splitter and now old telephony modem used for fax line and land line. This is a great solution for larger house if internet needs separate router and extensions for wireless access points.

I’m currently a Xfinity customer and I’m on their 150 service. I currently use it with a router in a different room and I’m getting constant 165-170+. Basically what I’m saying that you will significantly increase your speed. Downloads, uploads are faster and thus Modem is future proof. DOCSIS 3.1 support is an investment for time to come.

Up to true speed. I had old modem which couldn't support more than 200mb download. Get this new one and run like a champ so far. Very stable and easy to setup. This can set up on-line using xfinity app.

The ARRIS SURFboard SB8200 is a high-performance cable modem with DOCSIS 3.1 and 32x8 channel bonding, delivering reliable gigabit speeds for streaming, gaming, and more. Its sleek white design is compact and stylish, and it’s compatible with major providers, cutting rental costs. Setup is easy, but confirm your ISP supports DOCSIS 3.1.

This modem is fast, and was easy to hook up with my Orbi 4500 router. All I needed to do was unplug old modem and plug this in. It is small and has two ethernet ports - a plus (they both work).

Xfinity recommended this modem on their site so I didn't want to rent so I went for it. Xfinity installer had it going in no time, fast speeds every thing was fine till we had a storm. I lost internet found out one of the 1-Gigabit Ethernet ports stopped working. I called customer service(Arris) and they sent me out a new one. I hooked it up and have had no problems since. No drop connections, fast speeds of 250 or higher.

Ihave usually had a router/modem combo, but I decided to talk with one of the employees at the store about my options and what was the best for my family. They recommended separating them so that we can upgrade each separate piece as needed. After using the router for about a month, it definetly does the job and more. I have had no issues at all and my internet has been nice and speedy.

Really works wells and made my internet speed faster (as compared to my 10 year old 1 Gb ARRIS model). I was totally shocked that it would make a difference - went from 150 mbs to 300 mbs download due to the modem.

Spectrum cable tech support recommended this cable modem to us as the most reliable unit. So far, the unit has worked well at our subscription level of 400 mps with only a couple of times (over the past 7-8 months) where we needed to reset the unit. Previous cable modems included Netgear cable modems which were also fine, but were more prone to needing to be reset from time to time.

I was about to dump Spectrum which i get ONLY internet from. (overpriced cough cough) as it seemed to be subpar. So i thought I'd replace my cable modem, this one had good reviews... and WOW what a difference! Setup was pretty straight forward.

Replaced my Spectrum modem with this and magically I have decent speeds now. Super easy setup and worked beautifully with my eero mesh. Wish I wouldn't of waited so long. The hardest part was getting Spectrum to switch over on their end.

4 weeks in, and everything is great so far. I bought this to replace an aging (approximately 5 years old) sb6183. Setup was easy, following the web instructions. If I had called customer service, I'm sure my ISP would still have me on hold, lol. The SB8200 is from Arris, a company that makes dependable modems that just plain work. This little thing works great alongside my wireless mesh system.

I purchased the Arris SB8200 for Xfinity Gigabit Internet service as they have a deal for two years for the same price as the 400Mbps plan ($69.99). So in order to save almost $15 a month I decided to buy my own modem to replace my aging Motorola (Arris) SB6141. My SB6141 netted me 259Mbps down and 35Mbps up on my previous plan of 400Mbps down and 35Mbps up, which is great for a 8x4 channel Docsis 3.0 cable modem. So since Arris bought Motorola modem cable division I decided to get another one having had a great product with the 6141. The Arris SB8200 is also the only Docsis 3.1 modem with two Ethernet ports capable
