Best purchase I have made

Living in a place that has extra cable outlets made the quality of life easier. Have Spectrum as an ISP. The cable modem is compatible. The only problem is Spectrum does not allow the use of two cable modems in a single environment.

What price she told me was pretty far off and also did not mention that we would also need a router. So instead of $50-$60 it cost about $240 but at lease now won't need to keep renting a modem every month from Xfinity.

Bought it to use with SPECTRUM, This ARRIS is a nice unit with great features. Recommended Setup with SPECTRUM is a bit "tedeous"...they either don't have the talent to integrate "outsider" modems, or they INTENTIONALLY "dumb down" anything but their (admittedly free so far) routers as provided.
