Overall modem performs well and works. However reason for this purchase was because last one burnt out and started throwing signal errors to where my internet dropped. Last modem was only 2 years old and was exact same modem and brand. Bought the same one again because was only 3.1 in my area when I needed it

Performs better than the one I was leasing from Comcast!

I have used several modems, of different brands, but really since I came to use in SB 6190 I was convinced of the quality of arris. I had to change that modem for an "accident" of my pet's pee. Now I use SB 8200 and it is even better than the previous one. Stable quality signal. Recommended

I have no problems with this modem. I bought it to reduce long term costs of my internet. Once it was hooked up I was able to call my ISP and give them the new MAC address/ID and it started working immediately. I have not had any issues since it was installed.

I have Grande internet and this the latest and greatest modem. instead of paying rental fees I bought this modem. The return on investment will be in 6 months. I had to contract Grande to register my modem. after that was done I had a small issue with my home ethernet network which Arris helped me with.

Purchased first time and it stopped functioning within 15 minutes of use. Confirmed from spectrum that issue was modem. Exchanged for a second one and it has worked perfectly ever since. Provides excellent and consistent service. Rating based on price of modem combined with its immediate failure.

I purchased the SB8200 in hopes that it would work great with Xfinity. In my case it didn't. It dropped connection many times per day. I looked at the event log and there were 1000's of Non correctables on every channel. I had Xfinity come out and once the tech saw my modem, he showed me a picture on his phone and told me "This is the second call I went to today with the same modem" The SB8200 is the Hottest running modem I've ever had. My router doesn't even get near as hot as the Arris SB8200. Luckily earlier in the week I ordered the Motorola MB7621 modem. I know it's only a docsis 3.0 compared to the MB8200 and doesn't have as many channels. The Motorola MB7621 doesn't hardly even get warm, hasn't lost connection once and has NO non correctable's on the event page. The Motorola works great for me and has a 2yr warranty, compared to the ARRIS 1 yr warranty. The ARRIS MB8200 might work for you, but in my case it didn't. I returned it. to best buy who always has good service.

Had to purchase a new modem as the old one borked by firmware. This will handle Gigablast.

Overheats; won't bond to DOCSIS 3.1. Drops connection

I upgraded from a previous model to this modem and it appears to be working nicely.

Bought this when I upgraded my internet and couldn't be more satisfied.

This device was very easy to install. I was able to get a faster connection but not the fastest this has to offer. I will have to pay a higher monthly fee to get the faster connection. I feel I am already over paying WOW way too much for the lousy service they provide.

Seems to be ok so far. No issues. Not blown away by performance.

If you just need something to connect non-fiber modern internet to your router, this is the move.

Good product. Reliable and reasonably priced, Would recommend.
