Our modem shot craps and they recommended getting our own Docsis3.1 since it would have been 2 weeks to ship a new one. Picked this one and it's been great. Faster. Reliable. No more rental fees. Just remember that you'll have to call in the MAC address to your ISP to get it active. Otherwise, it was plug-n-play. Recommended!

This modem is awesome!! I can unequivocally say that after owning/replacing multiple Netgear modems over the course a a year. Setup and install was easy and straightforward. Speeds are what I expected and then some. My only wish is that I had purchased this model brand last time I had to return and replace a Netgear product.

After a year I decided to return my Xfinity router/modem because arris came out with this outstanding modem combined with a netgear Ax6 router made a great combination. First thing I found was outstanding speeds higher then when using Xfi modem/ router. Running now for almost a month and working well. Very happy with new setup.

This is a great modem. The product itself is easy to hook up, although Comcast gave me trouble trying to do so. I have had no issues with it and don't have to restart all the time like I did with the rental from Comcast. In the long run, don't give your money to Comcast and buy this modem with a separate router.

Great performance. It runs a little hot but they finally got rid of the blinking light on the front panel. My Mediacom connection only allows 24 bundled channels down and 3 bundled up. The service tech said that was max. It would be nice to get the 32 down and 8 up that the modem supports.

This got rid of my $13 a month modem rental fee. Also, 3.1! So if gigabit comes to my area, I'm already ready for it! I've known the name Arris since I was a little kid, always associated the name with Comcast boxes. And it lives up to it! Works perfectly, nice compact and the white color matches my new Google wifi! Perfect combo imo. Thanks!

Excellent workhorse modem for up to 1 Gig. Used with both Xfinity and Cox 1G plans. Not sure why, but it never picked up the overprovisioned speeds in excess of the plan (i.e., 1.25G) while others do (Arris S33, NETGEAR CM2000). It’s rated for above 1G so I assume the ISPs throttle it. But excellent otherwise. Years of use with no problems (see, e.g., S33’s overheating).

Xfinity Wi-Fi started having problems after I agreed to have them improve my speed from 200 mbps to 600 mbps. I found out that they required docs is 3.1 to achieve that speed. Many different pieces of equipment in my home started dropping offline. I purchased this modem and everything cleared up.

Great up from docsis 2.0 from 2005. Speed is great and cable guy said this will be good for years to come. Forget paying the modem rental fee. Call the cable company and they swapped me out on the phone in about 10 min

Once we got this modem set up (just needed a simple call to the Interbet Provider) it went online without any issues! Our intenet comes in faster than ever thanks to this modem!

I have to say the Arris surfboard is awesome. I stream often and has not had any issues. I increased my speed to 400 mpbs through my internet provider and I could not be happier with the Arris modem lightning speed.

Even though this does not include a wifi access point or phone jack, I never used those from the old xfinity modem that I rented from them. This one provides the speed and was very easy to setup and install. I combined this with a gigabit port switch so that I could spread the connections to other access points.

Good product. Using it with Comcast. This is a replacement. First one was bought 5 years ago. It burnt out would be nice if it has a fan. I’ve actually bought a separate fan and it’s running cool. Very fast access.

Was easy to connect both cable & power. Takes a few minutes to pull initial firmware from your Cable provider (mine was Comcast). Was easy to get authorized on Comcast's network, getting over 250Mbps. I picked this Cable Modem because it can support up to 1Gbps and does not have a firewall or wireless access point (I already have a AC3200 wireless access point).

Finally upgraded my internet to 600mbps down, but my old modem maxed out around 300mbps. Had my previous Surfboard modem for 10 years, hopefully this one lasts just as long. I am reliability seeing speeds above 600mbps with the new modem, easy setup with Xfinity.

Really fast speeds I was able to increase my speed by 2.5x and it was easy to set up and it took about 45 minutes which included contacting the ISP.
