I bought this to replace an older Arris modem. These devices are very good. The only problem I have with it is Comcast and their inept tech support.

Bought this for use on Cox Gigblast internet. I'm going to be honest, the modem is great, the Cox service ... not so much, they literally blow chunks.

It's excellent and serves its purpose. I advise to buy this product.

Great modem, latency is better than my previous supplied modem. Uses the Broadcom chip instead of the Intel Puma that had the latency issues.

Haven't had one problem with the home network since switching to this.

Great modem. Buying a second one for another house.

Really the top of the line. I have one at my partners house and we love it, as well as this one at my apartme nt.

Works great. I use the Nest for full WiFi connectivity.

I have the SB6141 for 5 years before and never had a problem until 2 months ago. I thought if the SB6141 was this good for 5 years, this Arris SB8200 must be a better Modem. Was I wrong! The SB8200 is a piece of high price junk modem! It works ok for one month but every 3 weeks, the internet connection is dropped! I called the company and they told me to do a factory reset and it worked for 3 weeks then the factory reset is required every 3 weeks or more often if you want internet connection! By this time, the returning period is over. I think Bestbuy should not carry the Arris SB8200 on their inventory anymore! It is a piece of junk!

My other ARRIS was six years old and no longer support by comcast - was only hitting 7mbps download speeds when I should get up to 200. Upgraded to new/supported modem and it did the trick. Quite pricey though.

Has worked well and is fairly future proof. Firmware is only able to be upgraded by Comcast. Mine needed upgraded and I needed to get to the right tech person to get the update.

Got it to replace the cable company provided modem...it is working well and we are happy with it...small size so its not offensive setting by the TV

My internet service prov iij der required to upgrade the modem to this DOCSIS. We are getting speedier data rate with this modem

I am not seeing a difference in the speed of my internet? Could still be the provider. I was hoping for an increase in speed. But will be nice not to pay the internet company for equipment.

Check with your provider first to make sure this is on their list or find a different provider. Anyone with a smart home this is a must

Speeds were great for about a year then it stopped using DOCSIS3.1 for the send signal. This made me get about ~50% of my speed I was paying for. It's still under warranty but this is an issue with this model, but the warranty will only send you a new model, not an alternative model. Support has taken weeks to contact, I've gone through at least 10 different calls now being run down rabbit trails, having technicians come multiple times and make changes because ARRIS claims that is the issue. These changes lead to the same result and won't fix the issue. Definitely not going to be buying anymore ARRIS products. Their customer service is far under par.

Top scale product that has satisfied all of internet needs!!!

Internet provider installed. Great value compared to paying providers monthly fee and also other modems It does generate a significant amount of light though

Great performance but expensive, cox cable corners you into buying this router if you have a business account. It does perform well but is a bit overpriced in my opinion.

You can have your own cable modem. Just photograph the Mac address, connect, and call your provider. As of this date, this modem is the best option.
