Arris create a great product. Ive been using their modems since 2015. Ive only had one modem go out in that time. Their menu is extremely wasy to navigate and if you like the technical details, then you have a lot of information provided by the interface. I was able to self diagnose the modem failure when it happened. Which if anyone has dealt with comcast sometimes can be a drawn out proces just to get a technician there. I recommend this product over anything else.

I had my previous modem from my ISP. It seemed to had worked well and the speed was ok. After doing some research I found this modem and what a difference it has made. I went from downloads speeds of around 70mbsp to almost 180mbsp and I no longer have the monthly charge for the modem from the cable company. It was easy to set-up and I think a great deal!

I recently upgraded to gigabit speeds through my cable provider and needed a DOCSIS 3.1 modem. The SB8200 works perfectly and consistently delivers top speeds. I appreciate the fact that the modem has dual ethernet outputs to support future speed increases. My only gripe is that this modem is not easily available in a black color. Otherwise, highly recommended!

It hooked up really easy and adapted to the service with ease. Been working great!

We needed an modem without a router and our choices were limited. We have a mesh system and cable but the lower end modems did not seem as fast nor did they have more than one ethernet output. I chose this one and, though it is far more expensive, I am very happy with the purchase. It's very fast and perfectly serves our needs.

Well, I purchased this modem to replace my old ARRIS SB6190 which served me faithfully... untill it DIDN'T! I never had any issues with it at all, but one day after a rainy day (in California, of all places) I came home to find it, and the LinkSys AC1750 Router I had connected to it, with all lights blinking! Panicked, I disconnected and reconnected everything, reset the adapters, etc., and got my internet back... but for only 20 minuted at a time! So, I ran my Ethernet cable straight from the modem to my computer... with the SAME results! With the new SB8200, which I find to be a bit pricey, I realized although I pay for 100Mb speeds, I never really got that much with the old SB6190; I was hitting about 60Mbs on average. With THIS new modem and my Router, I hit an average of 110Mbs! (don't tell anyone) All I wanted was what I PAY for. Nothing more, and definitely nothing less! It's only been two days, but I am quite happy with my setup and I hope that it continues to serve my needs!

good modem, saves me from having to broadcast free xfinity access point.all the bandwidth is mine. hocked this up to google pods and got the gigabit internet from Xfinity. with the whole family work and school from home this baby helps out a lot. perfectly good for the gigabit internet.

My 10 year old Surfboard began losing the internet connection so it was time for an upgrade. I decided to go with DOCSIS 3.1 for future compatibility. Since the upgrade, my download and upload speeds have increased greatly and I haven't lost my internet connection. To me it was worth the price of admission.

The best modem out for a Comcast rental replacement. Always getting maximum throughput for gigabit service, Paying for and receiving 940Mbps down and 40Mbps upload with IPV6 /64 CIDR handoff to my router/security appliance Excellent uptimes and never have to power cycle it for performance problems.

This modem is faster than the standard modem you get from Cox or Comcast. Its a plug and play modem i didn’t have to contact the provider to set it up which was nice. Overall, worth the upgraded price.

Been using SURFboards for years! Even back when Motorola owned the label. Never let me down and this is another great product that saves my parents $15 a month vs. having to lease one from the cable company and it is twice the quality as the one they offer.

Knocks $13 a month off your comcast bill and you don't have to deal with Their guest network. Also since its DOCSIS 3.1 you will be future proofed for the next few years at least. This will work for comcast gig coax service too. Simple to activate, just call in or go online and add the serial and MAC address and give it a few minuets.

We have purchased the Surfboard modems three times before this. The last couple times we went with another brand only to have a confused setup experience. This for us was truly plug and play. All the dread we anticipated was for not. I highly recommend this product.
