Works well. Better to get a modem and a wifi router than a two-in-one if you're doing online gaming.

Had some issues initially setting up but that, i believe, was due to my isp. it works great like a modem should.

Just check to make sure your cable company supports this modem. As many want you to use their proprietary ones.

Died in less than 30 days. Thought it was the lines and had Xfinity replace all the coax to the box. Worked for less than one full day and started crashing and hanging. Tried to work with support and they blamed xfinity, and xfinity blame the modem. Had enough of talking to both of them. I reinstalled our old DOCSIS 3.0 modem and guess what, internet has been up for 3+ days with ZERO entries in the event log. It was the lines in turns out, but then it was the SB8200 at fault.

While it took a while to get set up with Xfinity and with the Google Mesh home network this modem is solid!

Product was everything that I was looking for and made my wifi more available thru this older home.

I purchased this so I did not have to pay monthly to my internet provider. I have had no issues.

My Internet provider (Cox) required a upgrade to my cable modem. Needed DOCSIS 3.1 system.

I purchased this modem as recommended my advisor and returned the rented one to my cable provider.

Compared to Netgear the Arris surfboard takes way too long to boot and it's built in admin interface is incredibility slow to navigate. For basic needs it's just fine, but if your a more seasoned user who wants to pull diagnostic data out of the interface when you suspect a service issue I would go with the Netgear one instead.

Excellent modem but web control panel IP cannot be changed and if it conflicts with your router - tough... figure it out.

Developing technology requires keys to make it work better. A new modem is always a good thing.

The package seemed a little misleading considering it can handle more than the Ethernet ports allow.
