I really wanted this to work. I chose this over the CM1000 (Netgear) because it had a 2 yr. warranty over 1 yr. for the netgear. BIG MISTAKE. Got it all connected fairly easily through Xfinity. Unfortunately, it just would not stay connected to the internet. After several hours on the phone and in chat sessions with Xfinity AND ARRIS could not get this to stop dropping the connection to the internet. So, I picked up the CM1000, hooked it up, and poof, absolute perfect solid connection!! This is how it should work with a brand new top of the line modem. One shouldn't have to spend hours and hours of his weekend to get this to work. Conclusion: If you enjoy speaking to people with foreign accents (Xfinity) that are difficult to understand that have no clue what they are talking about for HOURS on end, then get the SB8200. IF NOT, get the cm1000 and you'll be enjoying your Netflix binge in no time!

Works great and never drops the signal. Perfect connection in the entire house.

It did help increasing connection speed. So far so good.

While playing computer games I keep getting kicked not sure if it’s a server issue or my new modem

Cable company said only 1 port on back can be used. Didn’t quite understand what the other one is for?

Replacing a modem that was functioning erratically

same as the 3.0 . i didnt get any better speed. waste money listen to comcast so call tecs.

Setup was fairly easy, but performance was not as advertised. Worked with the remote Cox tech support and we were not successful in getting this unit to perform as advertised. He recommended another manufacturer and model and I exchanged this at my local Best Buy and it is performing as advertised.

Excellent quality once again from Arris. Easy provisioning, no issues.

Works great. No buffering, signal reaches every place in the house.

Switch to midco internet and this was the best modem for there internet

Purchase for home internet but was not working well with my ISP. Returned but was a good modem
