Was far too complicated to set up compared to most plug and play ones.

I was told that this had a Router and Modem built in which it does. I was not told that it has to be hard wired to a computer to get the wi-fi to work. After 1 month I still don't have my wifi working.

Great and simple set up. No delays on the connection. Pricey

The previous version I bought only in April 2020 died on me, so I'm literally crossing my fingers this one holds out longer! While it was working it worked well before - best I can do.

It wasn’t compatible with my cable company so I’m not sure if it worked OK or not.

It must have an internal clock to break the week after the warranty is over.

Works fine with Xfinity 800mbs plan. I am able to get the full speed using this modem

I specifically purchased this cable modem to take advantage of my ISP's new gigabit Internet speeds which required DOCSIS 3.1 to achieve. My former Surfboard modem was a DOCSIS 3.0 modem and would not be able to entertain the speeds I was paying for. I have had nothing but issues with this modem being able to obtain and achieve gigabit speeds, even when pinged directly. XFINITY has done everything they can do other than rent me their modem/router combo, but what kind of nerd would be I be if I did that?! 8-) I will definitely consider a different brand of modem for the next standard specification when it is available unless I upgrade to fiber!

I tried this but had to return as the connection is not stable with my internal cable company. I changed to DOCSIS 3.0 modem and it's a lot better in terms of stability in connection.

This is a modem of forward thinking. If you want to future proof your investment by preparing for 1GB internet downloads then by all means spend the additional money.

Easy to set up and very fast as advertised. The white case has a lot of light bleed through so if you’re looking for use in a dark room. I really like the dual outputs.

Upgraded suppose to be better tha the 8200 but dont see the difference

I wanted to get a different alternative than the netgear docsis 3.1 modem, and this did the job, not as fast as what I wanted it to be, but it did make my connect to the internet. I would recommend this if anyone would like to get a better budget alternative 1gb modem.

Works as designed. Took about 5 minutes with internet provider to get it up/running

Overall signal is wonderful, but setting it up was a nightmare!

This does what it says and nothing more. That may sound simple but the web interface has nothing to configure. It just tells you if it’s connected. I returned it for the Motorola 8600 and seem to be getting better speeds now. I subscribe to Mediacom with 500/35 service.

So far this is working well! Handles the 1 gbps that my isp provides with ease!

We have Comcast. Worked out of the box. No issues. Keep in mind if you get triple play with internet phone, this is not the right modem. Use only for double play
