Bought this product so that I would not have to rent one from the service provider. Could not get the modem to work, the service provider noted it as defective. I ended up just renting one from them, I need to see if BestBuy will give me a refund or a store credit.

Good product, no option for wifi. It is not a router, just a modem

Wasnt what i actually needed. 2 ports cant use both unless you have 2 ip addresses. I am not computer savy at all. The basic one works great. Love the brand. Stick to what i know

Well, it may be a great router but doesnt work reliably with Comcast. Unfortunately because Comcast is a crappy company in spite of claiming compatibility. Thanks for nothing Comcast, sorry Arris.

went out in less than a year, kept dropping signal, the internet company came out, we were getting a high reading from the line but the modem was dropping it down to very low at times and sometimes negative leading to us losing internet for 5 minutes at a time and games crashing

Most cable companies in the Hudson Valley can’t utilize this modem.

For some reason this modem didn't work. I've had ARRIS modems in the past that were great. Unfortunately this wasn't one of them. I returned it and got a Netgear that is working great! BestBuy made the return process very easy.

I am on 3rd modem in just 4 weeks - 1st, no sync out of the box - 2nd, after only two weeks would not go 1 gigabit from port 1 or port 2, and would only stay under 100Mbit from each port -3rd, seems to be ok for now... Word of advise, buy at your own risk!

Unfortunately this modem did not work with my internet provider.

This sucked! Totally not worth it, get something a little nicer and you’ll be happier. My god wouldn’t even use this thing as a friggen frisbee

It says to scan a non-existent bar code on the back of the unit for set up. NO, not the package! I tried the other option (manually), and a support call to Arris with no luck. Returned it!

Needed a new modem, might as well buy future proof.

Have Xfinity internet service at my home 1 GB speed, With this modem the internet kept having "gaps" of connectivity disrupting streaming of video and zoom calls kept dropping. I returned it and went for Netgear going much better.

I have spent over 1 hour with Xfinity to try to setup the modem and never got it to work. It was online and everything was tested fine on Xfinity side but I just couldn't go online. This is my 2nd Arris modem. The error message keeps popping up saying unidentified IP. Then I switch it back to my old modem every thing is working fine. The Arris quality control has gone down alot. I would not recommend this modem.

My internet service was getting interrupted one day while working at home due to this modem. Intermittent disconnect. Read in other reviews, some also encountered this issue. So I exchanged this for the Motorola MB8600.

Crap Product. Worked great after a year then it stopped. Arris offered to give me a replacement which took a week and a few days to receive. Started using it again and it is slower than ever and unreliable. Both products were absolute garbage. I will be staying away from Arris for the foreseeable future.

Compatible with Xfinity but caps out at 600Mbps. If you are paying for 800 or greater you might want to consider another modem.
