It wont work on my Cox account. I called cox and tried to get in to connect. I had to return it

This product is very finicky and requires very specific settings through your ISP. I had a technician come to my home and was unable to get the product to work. Either the technician did not understand how to adjust the settings on the ISP side or potentially it was a faulty unit. Either way, I returned the product and went back to my trusty Motorola.

returned because I didn't know how to hook it up and didn't want to pay $150 for in home geek support. Will buy somewhere else that hopefully will help me activate it.

A company squeezes regular consumers to maximize its profit. As described in its 2016 version product inserts, an ethernet cable was included with the modem. This also reflects in Best Buy's description. I was caught unprepared when I discovered that this manufacturer eliminated the ethernet cable from its modem package.

Too many uncorrectable packet errors with Xfinity and IPV6 functionality is intermittent. Struggled with the finger pointing of who was to blame but after switching to a competitor product, my connection quality is rock solid. Arris was once a great choice - but no longer.

I have Xfinity gig internet service. This modern worked fine for the first 46 days (of course it started right after return period ended) and now it needs to be power cycled at least once a day to regain internet connectivity. Xfinity has said this is a known issue with this modem, and is not related to anything on their side. It's a waste of $200, don't buy it. Too bad Best Buy won't take it back.

Does not provide WiFi capability; only had one access port to connect to external devices

SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem stopped powering on after 3 months. I have two devices the SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable modem and Linksys WRT3200ACM router placed in the same room and connected to wall sockets. After 3 months of usage the modem stopped to powering on while my router was working and still works.

After troubleshooting for a good while since moving into a new house we have narrowed our issues down to this little jewel! New lines from the pole to the house all the way to the modem! Then tried a new router! Same intermittent issues! and now only 2 months later its no longer returnable! NICE! May never deal with bestbuy again!

Stay away from this device, it start given hard time since day one, until stop working, I'm going to contact the manufacturer to see if they can do something about it. I ended up getting a Netgear Wich is working perfect.

Died after a year and a half. Never dropped and in a well ventilated area.

Couldn't connect the modem to the ISP. Had to return to the store.

I installed this and still wasnt able to access the internet using a separate nighthawk router connected to this modem.

Older designed product but bought this for my office. Thus far works as advertised.

It did not work on my system and internet and I had to return it. Best Buy was very easy to work with in returning this product.

The song Hotel California was written about this modem. You can always check in but never out. The data went into it from the internet, but it never came out. I didn't bother getting another one, just returned for money back and went with the cable companies. Yes there is a rental fee, but it is faster than the ARRIS was suppose to be.

Tried to get rid of the Xfinity package to save a little money. Best Buy techs and on line states for best performance to buy a separate modem and router. My internet is supposed to be 1000 mbps. I am barely getting over 200 mbps speed down load. Spent a lot of money and hoped to get at least half the speed.

It does the job, but not exactly what we needed at the time.
