    Broke after a year!

    Bought it in may 2021, by the end of the June 2022 it's dead. After unplugging the power, and plugging it back i won't start. It keep sending strange noises, and the light blinks all the time.

    Sales person had no idea of my needs. Asked for a fiber optic modem and this is what I was told I needed. If you don’t know don’t suggest.

    Bad recommendation by Best Buy staff. I still have home phone. This does not support home phone (as delivered by Comcast Xfinity. So, after trying to get it working, Arris' tech support told me that would never happen.

    Modem crapped out after 6 months. Surfboard modems were a go to. Not anymo

    Buyer Beware - Buy the extended warranty!!

    Get the extended warranty!!! I should have... unit died 5 weeks after purchase and it's non returnable and non exchangeable. BestBuy Customer no more.

    We changed but we have to put the password every 2hrs, with the one before dosent cut like this!!

    Lacks support for comcast

    Worked fine for a short time, now the uploads are slow. Comcast claims its the issue with the modem. Arris claims its comcasts issue and won't dont anything about it. Switched the modem out and all is fine now.

    Never worked properly. I was on the phone with customer support for over 30 minutes and they gave up and hung up on me.

    Paid full retail for a open the box that had no manuals and ethernet cable that’s supposed to come in this “new” box. The only things that were wrapped in plastic were the power adapter and modem.

    Called Xfinityto activate, would not activate. Called Arris support and told me to go exchange it. Ive been buying Arris modems for years. With the aggravation, I decided to rent from Xfinity.

    Product did not work correctly. Kept shutting off and disconnecting. Thank goodness I got geek squad protection for them to fix. This is ridiculous! DO NOT RECOMMEND IN ANY WAY

    Cox supposedly doesn't support this hardware anymore so it had to be returned. Contact COX before going down this path so you don't waste your time.

    It was sold as a compatible modem with Cox, but it will not work with their phone system only with their internet! So I had to use my old modem for the phone line and the new Arris for the internet. Be aware!!!
