I ended up returning it because it was incompatible with my setup. But works the same as an older version.

Perfect for the application required. It was simple to connect and only rebooted for unrelated siagnostics.

After Comcast claimed to have upgraded my speed to 175Mbps and I was still getting the same old 140 or less I decided to try the modem that Comcast had been recommending for the past year. The new modem did not install as automatically as it was supposed to do. But after some time with Xfinity technical assistance we got it working. Speed tests now show a consistent download rate of near 200Mbps. Very happy with that. Oh, the heat problem you see so many comments about - not at all noticed. In fact the SB8200 runs cooler than the old SB6121. Very happy with the machine after almost one month of service.

This is the first cable modem I have ever purchased and it was easy to set up. Its also much faster than the modems mediacom rents to people.

Not sure where to start, but this modem is amazing! I’ve had it for 3-4 years now after swapping out the horrible spectrum modem, and I’m getting excellent upload/download speeds. No problems using this modem and an updated spectrum router at all. Also, it’s so much better gaming with my son online via Ethernet connection. I’ve already told many friends of mine to switch to this modem.

Easy set up and works well with eero mesh system. Would buy again at price I purchased it.

Had the Surfboard SB6141 I believe that this one replaced. Nothing was wrong with it, I just upgraded my router and decided it was time to replace the modem as well since the other model didn't support the speeds I was paying for. Install was as straight forward as could be. Provisioning it through WOW did take a few tries of them pushing the signal through. After about 10 minutes online with the chat bot everything was up and running. Speeds increased as well as stability.

I updated our modem with the newest Arris model. Performance is great. Better connectivity than my older model too.

This modem is super fast. Our Internet speeds were in the 55-60 mbps range before adding this modem. It is now between 390-400 on a consistent basis. It was very easy to set-up, as well.

The only issue I had is with the cable company connecting with the device. They don't know how to had to go through 3 customer service reps.

Easy setup. Just plug and play. The hardest part was waiting in queue with my ISP so I could get the modem's MAC address registered. My previous modem was the older version and it lasted me several years. Blazing fast speeds. I'm already thinking about stepping up my Internet speed to take advantage of the modem.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now, upgraded my internet speed and need a new modem. It seems to be working great, no problems. Easy to hook up and has capacity for even higher speed rates down the line. We like that it is separate, because my other equipment didn’t need upgrading.

This was purchased when we upgraded to gigabit internet speeds. It’s worked flawlessly so far. Simple set up - plug it in. I’ve been getting around 955Mbps consistently for all my speed tests when I run them.

Docsis 3.1 is needed if anyone is running a Gig or more for their internet service. I just hooked it up, and it runs well so far. I've used the Arris brand for my other modems, and no issues. Everything is good so far, will update if problems occur.

Good overall modem. upgraded from the sb6900. This one is docsis 3.1 while the other was 3.0. Supports faster speed. Pretty happy with it.

Easy to install. Worked immediately. It's giving us much higher speeds than our 3.0

So far so good. We cut the cable cord after much consideration. We were paying $317 per month now down to $50 bucks internet only and 2 streaming services included. We watch all the same stuff on TV. This modem and a decent router and we’re good to go. Had a little problem with set up but quickly resolved.
