After upgrading to a 200 MBPS service, my original modem was not compatible with this upgrade. The ARRIS SURFboard 32x8 DOCSIS 3.1 can handle our three TVs streaming internet broadcasts, plus computers and tablets without annoying buffering and dropouts.

I purchased this modem to replace the modem/router combo I was renting my my service provider. This was easy to connect and setup with my ISP. I have had no issues with it yet, and it was also easy to connect to my router. Highly recommend.

This modem is fast. I have Xfinity internet and have used their monthly all in one rental modem/router. I used it in combination with an Eero mesh router system. I know you shouldn't but it gave me "free" unlimited data caps when I rental their modem. Even though their app shows I'm getting advertised speeds of over 1000 Mb when connected directly to their modem, I get less than ideal when on the Eero mesh wifi or the ethernet port. I know that my Eero maxes out at 350 over wifi but I was never able to obtain those speeds even on ethernet backhaul. After swapping Xfinity modem for this one, I can say that my problem is resolved. Speeds are saturated and I get gig speeds when I'm connected directly to one of the Eero routers' ethernet ports and over 300 Mb on wifi.

Bought this modem as I was converting from Cable TV to Streaming. Small size but the DOCSIS 3.1 handles the TV streaming excellently.

Purchased this in combination with a Linksys Velop series mesh router system. Leaps and bounds better. Automatically configured and set itself up when connected. Nice that I didn’t have to speak to a Cox representative. Worth it.

Great cable modem, easy to setup and configure. Works for all of our Internet needs with our mesh Wi-Fi.

Currently using this with Xfinity and getting 1000mbps when hard wired to the back with PC. To set up the modem, I needed to call Xfinity and get them the MAC address off the back. This is outperforming the one they provided hands down.

I finally can get the maximum speed Comcast offers since it has the full DOCSIS 3.1 spec. It's crazy seeing a Steam game downloading at 70 MB/s... and this is through an ASUS router too via Ethernet

Very easy to set up. I removed my old modem and plugged in the power, the ethernet cable, & the cable line. I opened the Xfinity app on my phone (you need to have a phone to set this up - need to use data and not wifi) and click" activate now" under "Got new equipment to set up?" The app prompted me to enter the MAC ID number which is on the box and also on the modem. It took around 5-10 mins for Xfinity to recognize my device. We have a web of set up with router, control 4, security camera, etc. I didn't have to configure anything.

This is an upgrade for me from my sb6183 modem. Glad it's working great. I have had no issues with it but it does run warmer than my previous modem. I have a laptop cooler underneath it to help disipate the heat. I definitely think it was worth the upgrade!

This is a speedy Modem! I replaced comcasts version with this unit and saw immediate speed increases. Additionally, there were no crashes to date!!! In the previous comcast unit, I would have to reset at least once a week. This unit is trouble free and fast!!!!!

I got a good price on this and it was easy to set up after I contacted my internet provider to register it. I get much more speed from my internet now. I bought this on a recommendation from the IT guy at work.

My Arris was extremely easy to install. Steps are straight forward. Extremely fast. It handles all the requirements of COMCAST, my service provider. Most important of all, Arris is extremely reliable. I simply had no issues since I installed several months ago.

This modem is great and reliable and that's what you want out of a modem My wife, daughter and I all work from home and this modem works great, easy to setup and reboot if there's an issue with your ISP.

I bought this to replace a Spectrum modem that kept dropping internet service for 1-2 minutes throughout the day. This modem works flawlessly and my speed (I have the 400 Mbit tier) is faster, especially the upload speed. I definitely recommend this modem!

Easy set up and connected quickly with our internet provider. Better than paying each month to rent from our internet provider.

It works like a champ. Setup of this modem was quick and easy and you simply plugin the coaxial cable, Ethernet cable to your router and power cable and you are off and running. A quick call to your internet provider (Spectrum for me) to add the HFC MAC address and the modem is registered and provisioned and I'm up and running within 15 minutes. The modem is warm, but not hot as usual. I traded my used SB6141 and get a 15 % coupon which brought the cost of this modem further down.
