The modem itself has worked without issue since I picked it up. I've reached ~800 mbps so far but I'm sure that's due to either the file host or COX itself, not the modem. I'd recommend buying your own modem rather than renting them from the cable provider.

I purchased this thinking that there was an issue with my new Router that is Wifi 6 protocol. However, it appeared that it was my firmware for the router that botched things up. Well I ended up liking this product so much I decided to keep it. This is Docsis 3.1 ready so it is future proof. The product handles Gigabit Speeds and up! This means that this should last you for several years. The one thing I like about this product is that it has to ports in the back, which I run to my PS4 and I get every bit of bandwidth I pay for and with WIFI6 my home crushes gaming, work, Zoom/Skype teleconferences, and also makes our internet blazing fast. This is the bleeding edge and a good product by Arris, definitely would recommend this to anyone that has a really high speed plan.

Good packaging and easy to hook up. All i had to do was activate it and it runs as advertised.

I purchased this modem 8 months ago and it has been working well, I am obtaining 486mps download out of the 500 that I pay for and 53.11 upload speeds. No issues with the modem.

I needed a new cable modem since my ISP started charging a rental fee for a ancient modem. With this modem I was able to upgrade my service to 600 Mb and it works peerfectly. Other reviews said it ran very hot but I haven't noticed that at all.

Works with Optimum Internet. Just make you call Optimum to register the device. But if you are reading this, seek a better internet provider. Fantasic Modem, easy to setup and it increased speeds and I'm saving 120$ a year now.

Excellent performance at a great price. Speeds from this modem are very good. Can’t go wrong with this. Using with xfinity and it was easy to setup and use.

plug and play (with a phone call to you internet supplier) and your ready to go. Up to 10gbps allowed so I want need to upgrade for a long time. Once it was set up I was ready to connect it to my router. Easy 1.2.3. Installment.

I'm on Xfinity network and this leveraged my gigabyte internet well. Held a solid connection when there were no Xfinity issues. Small form factor but solid.

Fast, easy setup. The hardest part was getting my cable company to update their system. Great purchase!

The Arris SurfBorad 32X 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable model is a great product. It was easy to install and will allow me to receive more download speed across all devices without experiencing a drop in performance.

Excellent modem. Does everything I need it to do. Easy install. Excellent telephone service -- you get to talk to a real person if you run into difficulties in setup.

I read all the reviews about different modems and I've been with Arris for the last 8+yrs. This modern does not lose connection, the speed is unbelievable. I haven't had to reset this at all and I've had this modem for about 1 month now.

We have not had any problems with our internet since installing. Before, the streaming would be slow and would “buffer” constantly. This was a good investment.

Had this for 13 months before it failed. Only giving two stars instead of one because setup was easy and it was solid before it started failing. A couple moths ago, started having problems with intermittent disconnects, troubleshooting indicated the modem as it was failing for all devices in the house whether going through the wireless router or hard wired. Then it started boot looping about every 15 minutes. What is terrible about this product is the technical support. The tech treated me like a noob, ignoring the troubleshooting I had already performed and making me repeat EXACT SAME STEPS. Unnecessarily long (I think he was handling too many calls at once - long lag between steps), and after two hours, I gave up because having it replaced was not worth my time. Never buying Arris again.

I had a older one for about 6 years and didn't have any problems with it... it still works but it's old and can't handle the faster speeds...so I upgraded to this one and it was easy to setup and use.

Performing as advertised. Would buy again at Best Buy
