I wanted a cable modem from a company with a good track record, that would not become obsolete soon, that was dependable, and reasonably priced. Considering that criteria, this modem was the best fit at this time, and has been working great since day one.

My internet was a little slow and COX suggested that I try DOCSIS 3.1. The installation was easy, and the internet performance has improved. Super easy to install.

 Performs better than my old one and much cheaper than renting one from Xfinity

I am happy I purchased this Modem. It is compatible with Spectrum as your ISP and after installation, it actually increased my speeds. I was under the impression however, that I could utilize both ethernet ports, but in order to do this, you need two separate IP addresses.

I had an earlier Arris modem but it would only handle 275 mbps and I wanted more speed to handle my TV. I bought this one and it is supposed to handle up to 10 gbps. So far it's doing the job!

Tiny, unrelenting cable modem, i bought this to sort of future proof my internet network, realistically 3.1 can support higher speeds then 1gigabit DL. We wont be seeing that for a while, so im ready when it comes down to it. Get it, great modem.

Reliable and easy to install/troubleshoot The ARRIS SURFboard SB8200 is a work horse!

Easy and quick setup. Works perfectly with Nighthawk Mesh Wi-Fi System. Very happy with this purchase.

Much smaller than my old DOCSIS 3.0 modem. I saw in other reviews that it runs really hot. Not true. Gets slightly warm which is to be expected. Has been running for two weeks with no issues. Easy conversion with ISP provider from DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem to Arris SB8200 DOCSIS 3.1.

Compact in size, enables user to pick up internet via Wifi at great distance; reasonably priced at Best Buy. Customer service personnel were very knowledgeable at what my requirements were and recommended this product

It does what it says, typical Arris reliability you'd expect. Upgrade to DOCSIS 3.1 allowed me to use the bandwidth I was paying for.

Modem works well and works with our ISP. The price won't break the bank and it's a better deal to get this modem than rent from your ISP and will save in the long run. Easy set up.

Excellent product and very easy to use. I thought the price point a little high but nothing unreasonable. Solid performance with little stress setting up. Providing strong signals in my apartment.

Solid reliable performance at a great price. I’ve upgraded to the eero pro 6 system in both of my homes. I use this modem with both setups and they work great.

I great cable modem for my xfinity service. Why pay a monthly rental fee on something you can purchase and get your money back in one year basically. Works as intended, would recommend .

Excellent modem. Decent price. In stock at local store. Not too difficult to set up and get operational. Biggest problem was dealing with the local cable company!

Replaced a Suddenlink rented Modem. I was a little concerned about setting this up on my Mac but it was pretty straight forward and Installation was a breeze. More security and faster internet.

Works great. Easy to set up. Would definitely recommend it.
