Worked great for 1 gigabit speed through Xfinity. I did not have any reliability issues over the 2 years of owning it.

I recently upgraded my internet to 1gb and needed a (DOCSIS 3.1) Cable Modem to get the most out of my connection. It works as advertised and at a reasonable cost.

Modem works ok. Does tend to get warm to fast.....

Upgraded from the SB6141 to use on Cox. Easy install. Getting speeds advertised by Cox and low ping. My Ooma voice works better now & very stable with online gaming. Does get hot but runs great.

The Arris SurfBoard DOCSIS 3.1 solved many of the annoying issues I was having with my old modem. With the approved providers, it was as easy as plug-n-play. Some providers may require you to call them to finalize the setup process, but thats about it!

Does exactly what it was designed to do, good price, and easy to install.

This modem has been reliable, blazing fast, and was very easy to install. After a quick call to Cox to switch the modem over on their end, we were up and running in about 5 minutes.

Now I get the internet speed I have been paying for. Nearly 2 years I have been promised 300Mbps, from my provider, and still usually only averaged between 220 to 245Mbps. I researched cable modems that I could own, and followed recommendations for the Arris SB8200. I now test regularly to 330Mbps and as high as 345Mbps. This cable modem is an asset to greater internet speed!

I upgraded to the Arris 3.1 from a 3.0 to take advantage of faster speeds and bandwidth offered by Mediacom. I was pleasantly surprised that I could activate the modem and upgraded my ISP all online. Quick easy setup, works great.

It's easy to set up, price and outlook are good. After set up for couple weeks became unstable in operation, required to re-start almost once every other week.

I wanted to get out of paying a monthly fee for my cable internet. This is a very fast modem with easy installation and setup.

Love this Modem... Extremely easy to setup and pretty powerful at the same time... Small and compact, does not take too much space and looks good too... unlike other bulky and weird looking ones :-)

This modem is well worth the price if you have gigabit internet. It can keep up with multiple people actively using the internet without any real hiccups.

Previous SB6141 DOCSIS 3.0 lasted 6 years. ISP upgraded us to 300 Mb service and we started having some unexpected resets and variable speeds. The SB8200 was recommended by ISP and installed with no issues. Registering the warranty was simple via smartphone, although I question why they needed access to pictures and files on the phone. Deleted the app as soon as registration was complete.

I purchased this modem for a new Comcast connection (the broadband service I had previously relied on was not available in my new apartment building). I do not work from home so I opted for the 600 rather than gigabit, and this modem is more than able to handle the speed. Once I got the modem registered with Comcast, I was good to go. Plugged in my eeros and haven’t had an issue since. Online ordering and in store pickup was super fast and easy.
