Easy to set up, and works as described. Plugged it in, followed the easy instructions and it was up and running in no time.

Don't pay Comcast to rent a Modem. In a year you save the cost of renting. Anything past that is extra money you don't have to spend. If you have trouble connecting, make sure Comcast has the right mac address for the modem. I went thru the walled garden and it was still trying to connect to my old modem. The base level tech didn't catch this. I insisted she bump me up to the next level and he caught that. Entered the proper information and it connected. If you can reach the Walled Garden, most likely you don't need them to roll a truck.

Very good modem, easy and fast setup with comcast. No need to call the customer service. So far no issues. Highly recommended it.

I recently upgraded our entire home network to Ubiquiti equipment. Buy once, cry once. Once that was complete, I opted to upgrade my modem to future proof everything (DOCSIS 3.0 to 3.1) and hopefully correct an intermittent buffering issue that I was still experiencing on Ethernet connected TVs . So far so good. Issue has not returned. Works well with Antietam Broadband but you will only use port 1 for the LAN ports. Speed tests seem to be always close to capacity. So far I am happy with my purchase.

This Arris Surfboard modem works great. It was easy to set up and just works every day without any intervention. I would recommend this Arris modem to everyone.

Works good had the same model before but lightning storm took it out.

I have a 500down/50 up internet speed. And, with a PC hardwired into one of the ethernet ports in the back, I was getting an extra 10% in reported speeds. This modem supposedly can handle the 1Gig speeds, but I'm not gonna get that plan for awhile. Speaking of the two ethernet ports, its nice to have and it worked well when I tested it out. If you have some sort of server setup connecting through the one port, you could plug your computer into the other slot and test how it looks accessing it from the "outside".

So much faster than my old modem. This brand is reliable and would buy again in the future. Had the older version too.

I am routinely getting 10% over my Comcast plan's speed (800/15). I have not experienced any disconnects.

I would say that this is a good product to get fast internet

Got this after having to return a Netgear modem from Costco that was supposed to handle gigabit. But Comcast in our area could not provision the Netgear. So this less substantial looking box did the job and is still delivering the speed with no dropouts (that I've noticed) for about 11 months now. Comcast recently announced an upgrade to 1.2 gigabit and I don't know if this could actually deliver that, but my network router, switches, etc. are just gigabit anyway, so it doesn't matter much.
