Arris Surf, I had recently purchased it from Best Buy in order to upgrade to a faster speed modem. Installing this awesome modem is/was so easy a child can do it with not 1 but both hands tied in the front (tied in the back won’t be able to do it.) Installation, up and running was completed in 15 minutes. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a faster upgrade. (Check with your ISP for compatibility before purchasing any modem or router.)

Easy setup and fast speeds. If you have xfinity you will still need them to come out if you upgrade your speed.

Was looking for an upgrade on my old modem For gaming and internet speed and found this one it is one of the best and performs amazingly.

We had been paying for 150MBps while using my old 100Mbps until it quit working, we purchased the Arris sb8200 and best buy had a 15 % off with trade in, since then we had a very good connection, and our speed is 300Mbps which has helped with our jobs at home. our internet provider had some issues to make it work.

This is faster than my old one and there no lag anymore netflix steams just fine and supports all off my devices.

Replaced my old surfboard with this new one. I should have done this as soon as I got rid of att and switched to xfinity. Trying to be frugal and use an old modem. But I was having random internet drops to wireless devices not connecting to even WiFi after certain amounts of devices gone over 20. My speed test was terrible getting only between 20-100 mbps when I ordered 400 mbps service. Put this new modem in and I have been problem free ever since.

The decision to upgrade an existing Comcast cable TV and Internet service also required replacing the preexisting cable modem with a newer, up-to-date model that had been certified to work with Comcast's services. Since the previous cable modem had been an ARRIS model that functioned reliably for over ten years, this newer ARRIS SURFboard 32 x 8 model was selected as its replacement. This unit was relatively easy to install and interfaced smoothly with the upgraded Comcast service once the new modem had been remotely initialized by the service provider.

Just what I needed to upgrade my internet speed. Easy to set and works as advertised.

I bought it to replace crapy one provided by Optimum - Ubee. It solved 1 Gig internet issue. I was deciding between Netgear CM1100 and Arris SB8200. While they have same Broadcom CPU, Arris has 3GB RAM vs 256 and twice smaller. Great Arris tech support. And, best of it - Free One Day Best Buy shipping without Amazon_Prime fee.

Seamless replacement into my Optimum cable drop. Works better than original. Been up for 3+ months. No issues at all.

This works well, but appears to overheat a little. I have a small usb fan connected blowing on it to help cool it down. Beside for that it works well.

Easy to install. Speed testing the the before (230 to 275 Mbps) and after installing the SB8200 (540 to 575 Mbps). It almost double the speed. My secondary TV is connected to the internet via WiFi. Speed on that TV was 125 to 155 before and now is averaging over 250. I'm paying for 250 Mbps cable service.

Modem is working perfectly!! I've been using Arris products for over a decade and they've never failed me. I purchased this one from BestBuy at a great price and it's been just what I needed to replace my client's ISP gateway rental.
