Hight speed, very easy to assemble. however 3.1 is only needed if your internet speed is more than 200

Arris Surfboard Modem was easy to set up. It has performed well.

My Comcast owned modem was cutting out frequently. In total frustration I went online for a new one. Once Comcast/Xfinity synced up with the ARRIS modem, everything worked flawlessly. (I already had a router in place that I just had to reset). Now I save $14 a month from renting Comcast’s modem, and I don’t have to restart modem all the time (when they picked up the old modem, the tech told me it was very outdated).

Got a message from xFinity showing that my old SB6100 series modem does not support my 150mbps package i am paying for. I needed to get a Docsis 3.0 modem. Moved to this model and bam! My internet experience is way better. No more waiting for streaming media to buffer. Great having two Gigabit hardwire ports as well. One for my Wireless router and another for my switch for all of my extra hard wired equipment in the room. Also this is Docis 3.1 so it will be ready for the faster service once xFinity rolls this out to our area.

Easy to setup. Works great. I'm getting speeds of ~ 400mbs when connected by ethernet [on my 500mb plan].

Needed modem to support higher speed Cox connection of 500 down / 50 up. It has worked well! I prefer a cable modem without Wi-Fi as I have my own router. I usually end up replacing the cable modem every 3-4 years as they start to slow down or get damaged after a storm.

Very reliable modem that takes full advantage of the 32 available downstream channels. I am now getting much better download speeds.

Bought this after having another Arris modem that was going strong for 7 years and then we moved and the ISP we use didn’t allow it since it wasn’t a DOCSIS 3 modem. So far, I have had zero drops of service from it, even with 4k streaming and other pretty intense uses! I would definitely recommend it to anyone in search of a router unless you are going over the gigabit internet with your provider.

Brought this to use with Spectrum. I have the 500gb service. Once activated this modem works perfectly. I paired with google mesh. I routinely get 550gb from the modem to the mesh. This is only a modem. It is not a router or a wifi access point. This is what I was looking for and it works perfectly.
