I’ve owned a 15 year old Arris modem and wanted to upgrade to the newer technology. It really has come a long way from 15 years ago. Speeds are phenomenal. Download speeds increased 20 fold, and the design is great! The upgrade was worth every penny!

Reliable modem, necessary to be able to get gigabyte speed

The SURFboard has worked out great for us. We needed a new modem to take full advantage of the Xfinity internet plan we had and the Arris was on the list of recommended modems. We ordered online and it was delivered right to our house. Setup was easy, although I did not realize the need to communicate with Comcast that I had equipment. Once I figured that out, everything worked as advertised and has been working well ever since.

When I first connected this it was buffering a lot. 10 minutes or so. So I contacted Arris support chat. Fast response. We checked the settings. All where fine. So I unplugged modem and router. Waited a minute modem the router plugged in. That did it.. this thing is screaming fast. 4 simultaneous 4K TVs running in 4K without a hitch. I pay for 400mbs. 459mps. Is what I get now. Recommend highly.

Works great. Was a breeze to setup with Spectrum. Getting slightly faster speeds. Also, having your own modem allows you to see connection status. The modem made me realize I needed a forward path attenuator to bring my downstream power levels down.

Best modem on the market. Love it. Its pushing my xfinity at over 700mbps. Cant complain!

I bought the high-end router to avoid renting from my ISP. Set up was instant. It works fine right out of the box.

Comcast wants me to pay to rent their Modem and I refuse and they blame my personal Modem as the reason for their crappy over paid and under performing service. I pay for the 200mbps and I get 45-76 download speeds. They said my less than 2 year old modem was issue so I got this one and it maybe helped a little with speed but now they have to find another reason to blame. I like the modem look and performance. I would buy again.

Great modem, easy to install and was online immediately after registering it with the cable company.

Works fine with Optimum internet service. I've experienced no issues with network connectivity in the 1+ month I've been using this device. I hit speeds of 360/30 Mbps, and the limit is set by my service plan, not this device.
