Wanted to own my own modem. It does a good job and provides fast internet. Just wish it was a router as well!

Speed up your data channels with a 3.1 modem like the Arris surfboard 32x8 docsis 3.1 cable modem. This modem has 32 download channels and 8 upload channels which means more flow of data. This modem ONLY does internet and cable, no voice or phone connection. This modem can handle higher speeds and easily gives me speeds with my 400mbps Spectrum plan. I pair this with my WiFi 6 router to maximize my speed.

Our internet was going down at least two or three times a week for at least a year after I upgraded the router. I thought I would have to upgrade everything then talked with Cox and they said it maybe the modem and then Best Buy and got the right modem. I hooked it up and after four weeks it hasn’t gone off line once. You will need to call Cox to register your modem!

Modem is working well. Easy setup and smaller than I thought it would be. Very happy.

This modem does what it should, it is fast. I had trouble with my initial modem and had to exchange it for a new one, now so far the connection is solid. My cable provider keeps increasing download speeds for my service and this modem will allow for those future speed increases. If you pair this modem with a great router your service will be very fast. Best Buy is awesome to work with

Our previous version of the Arris but the dust one day and so, it was time to upgrade. We currently don’t have gigabit service, but it is currently being wired on our street, so we’ve gotten this fella here and it’s worked like a charm. No issues whatsoever.

This modem will provide a great base for your network and highly recommend. Its great for anyone with cable internet, but not for use with gigabyte. I have used it for quite awhile and it has worked flawlessly. Allows for multiple streaming devices - I have around 25 devices connected with maybe 5 active at any one time - and they all work well. Of course router is an important part of the equation too.

My good friend who works in IT recommended this to me. The technician who installed my internet was impressed by this purchase telling me it was an excellent choice for a signal as well as security. It was easy to install.

Fast and reliable. Small and discrete. Does not support mica for RCN cable. Therefore show info on cable network will run out unless you add additional device.

The modem works great, once you get it configured with Comcast. TIP- do not (at least initially) plug another device into the LAN port on the back. I plugged our PS4 into it, along with the new Netgear Nighthawk router, and Comcast couldn’t get it to work. It took my office IT guy to help me troubleshoot the issue and get it configured. Our internet went from (0.1-30 MB/S) up to around 250MB/S. Major improvement!

Works as it should. Plugged it in and followed the prompts from the Xfinity app and I was up and running.

This thing is lightening fast- it handles 3 X-Box 1 X's, 4 4k Tv's and all of our devices with no problems- no lag!

Easy to setup and will save hundreds compared to renting from cable provider.
