Great product, easy installation, strong performance.

I bought this to avoid rental fees from my ISP and so far I’m really enjoying it. No problems whatsoever. I reboot it once in awhile just to clear out the cache and call it good. It can handle ups to 2 gig. Be sure to check with your ISP if this or any modem you’re looking at is on their approved list. I bout an SB6190 because it handles up to 1 gig and I only got 500mgbs, but it’s DOCSIS3.0. For whatever reason my ISP requires a DOCSIS3.1 modem for speeds higher than 300mbps. So I had to return the SB6190 for this.

Easy and quick to install. Works very well. I would recommend this modem.

I have had many issues with Internet in my area. I was not getting the speed for which I was paying for. I purchased this and a separate router. Since then, I have had no problems. We have upwards of 10 devices connected at a time (gaming consoles, downloads, streams).

This has great speed and connectivity was very easy.

Easy to set up, works great on Cox. I saw speed increases over my old five year old modem.

Haven't had any problems with the Surfboard modem. Was easy to set up (took only about 5-7 minutes to apportion it through Xfinity), and get great bandwidth speed whether it's at Gig speed or less.

Bought this to replace Xfinity's own modem. Setup was a breeze, it was up and running in less than 10 minutes - and my speeds are even a touch faster now than they were before. No reason to pay a monthly rental fee when you can buy this instead.

This modem does an outstanding job, is easy to operate and install. Will pay for itself after one year.

The set up is simple; I had to call Xfinity to complete the activation. From start to the end, the installation was not more than 10 minutes, and that includes the call to Comcast. The installation apprised of my voyage router, my Apple Extreme Airport base station, and the broadband. The set up of cables includes bandwidth coaxial, A HDMI and three RJ45 cables. All devices are working very well and no buffering, when streaming from other media sites.

I picked this ip so i could get my 400mpbs with xfinity. Docsis 3.1 is required. Works great! No issues do far!

If you are like me and live in a congestive neighborhood, and see noticeable slow speed, it’s usually during peak hours when most people are using it the same time, but this modem gives you more flexibility to move to a different channel with less traffic to give you steady and fast speeds!. Especially during the pandemic most people are home using the internet, so this was a worth while purchase.

Pros: Quick set up and connection to Xfinity. So far has given a stable connection with no drops during meetings or streaming. Web interface is pretty clear on options. Cons: Web interface is pretty simple on controls with no security I could find in the Guide or online. Not obvious on packaging or Guide that only one Ethernet port may be used at a time, unless specially set up with ISP. So far I'm happy with the product with my simple setup and would recommend to non-tech users for how easy it was to get going.

Great modem. This unit has worked as described for New Orleans internet.

was as stated, easy set up works great. but my cable service was the problem.

Bought as an upgrade to a earlier model to get the full speed advantage. Works right out of the box.
