I purchased this modem my Comcast and today I can declare that it has saved me a lot of money. I have no issues, easy to use and fast to stream data and this product is really stable. It works great. Amazing speed. you can't go wrong with this modem.

This modem works well and has high speed plus it is reliable. You will require a seperate router, but this modem does its job well.

Used Arris modems for years, they all worked great never a problem with none of them. This SB8200 does the job.

Purchased this modem to have a personal owned device through our internet provider. Allows our home network to run at the full speeds provided.

My cable modem went out, so did the router. I matched this with a Linksys WiFi router and ran the Comcast speed test and they were above the max up and download speeds listed on the test page. So they are capable of moving a lot of data. Setup took me two or three times to get the modem working. I called Arris and they said it was working. But i had to call Comcast before it worked. So don’t start on some holiday. Once the cable co got the thing set up on my account everything screams along now.

This cable modem was easy to hook up, and has provided steady connectivity ever since. I paired this with a router to connect the rest of my house over wifi so I'm not paying monthly rental fees to stay connected.

I had buyer's remorse and decided not to go for gigabit internet quite just yet so I ended returning this modem, but the time that I had it, the speeds were amazing. The only stupid thing is the box is twice as larger as it's predecessor, the SB6190, which I currently have. Its ridiculous because both modems are exactly the same size with the same exact contents in the box. So yea, one star down for dumber packaging.

Holy smokes night and day difference. I purchased this item to upgrade my modem since my old one was running super slow or would randomly cut out. Took awhile to get connected with my internet provider but once hooked up my internet speed skyrocketed. Greatly pleased with this item.

Following the directions to hock up , I had some trouble and had to call ( COX ) . That was an ordeal. Got connected and everything works great.

Easy to install. Automatically selected the DOCS 3.1 settings so no fuss with ISP Provider. Stays nice cool sitting on the shelf in the network cabinet. Creating a Rackmount bracket so it's up of the shelf. Think the only thing I would like to see added into the box is a template of the built-in slip hanger for someone going to wall-mount it.

Good modem, ease of connecting, and good compatible with wifi connector.

Absolute pain in the neck to set up since ARIS insists you open an account on their website even though you bought from Best Buy -- then you have to call your ISP (Cox uses this modem but hassles you endlessly if you don't buy from them). But it's working now and still working.

Comcast "upgraded" our neighborhood so our old surfboard was no longer compatible. first we thought that was just comcast marketing telling us to buy something through them but over time (especially with everyone working from home), our internet became unbearable. This has worked so well for us that when my mom had the same issue, I bought her one too.
