I had the Xfinity modem, for years but it always had to be reset on a daily basis I called them to replace it and they kept telling me it's the newest one. Lies there equipment is just junk. So I bought my own modem best decision I could make I haven't had a single problem since I went live with it.

We've had this modem for about a month and have been very pleased so far. Installation was straightforward and the performance has been great. We have Xfinity internet service and are using this, a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X, and a wireless access point to create an always-on wired home network with optional WiFi.

The Arris SurfBoard is awesome. It has constant speeds upward of 700Mbps. I have no complaints. I cut the cord with my cable TV provider and have not looked back. I'm able to run all my devices without any issues. A happy camper!!

Bought this when I *thought* my older model Arris was giving up the ghost - but it was Comcast. Well, at least I have a newer model and on the occasions when I do lose my internet connection, I know it isn’t the modem! Have had no issues with this since purchasing.

I am very happy with AARIS modems. My past two modems were reliable. We are a very connected house. I refuse to purchase a modem and router from Xfinity. I bought this. It’s coupled with a Linksys Velop Mesh Router. We are a family of 5, and pull down over a TB a month. I am pulling down speeds of 450 Mbps. You won’t be disappointed.

Needed to replace my cable modem. This is a compact unit is was easy to set up, Cable company tech support worked with to get the modem online. I already had a router so just needed to connect it to the modem. Would buy this brand again.

This is hard to talk about because most people will never need this pricy modern. However, as a streamer and gamer, I need all the power I can get. With that said this is the most stable and fastest modem out there. However, you are going to pay the price for it. If you don't have gig internet don't get this.

I upgraded from SB6121 and immediately my 75Mbps plan was boosted to around 85-88Mbps. With the recent increase from 75Mbps to 100Mbps, I am connecting at around 118-125Mbps. I had to call Comcast to switch my modem but it was quick and easy.

Pros: Runs perfect. Superfast ! Lights are bright. Great price.

Never took it out of the box. Turns out my old modem (also Arris) was working fine - my neighbor accidentally cut my cable whilst landscaping, Great modem, though...from what I hear.

Xfinity upgraded the Internet speed. Needed a new modem to take advantage of the new speed. Haven't had any problems.

You cannot beat the reliability of the arris surfboard.

This modem is fast and compatible with Cox internet.

Amazingly simple to setup and it is blazing fast. I only wish it had a couple more LAN output ports.

Bought this to replace an older SURFboard modem for faster internet. Installation was simple, and called Xfinity to update the modem information and was up and running in 10 minutes. Can't be any more painless.
