A great upgrade and needed since Cox was saying it was “necessary”. Not sure about that but glad I did. Seems to be more stable, with improved speed, for a little bit of a cheaper price tag. It should be able to last until the next “necessary” upgrade. Highly recommend.

Connected easily with my cable-provider (Xfinity) after I determined using an Apple Airport Express was not going to work easily, and chose another route. Straightforward instructions and all needed parts were included (that doesn't always happen).

Great modem. Everything running at top speed. Saves me over $14 a month that WOW was charging me for using theirs. Should have purchased my own a long time ago.

I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this product but after using it im totally sold on it. If you have any doubts about it let me ease your mind .it absolutely fantastic!

Good modem, does what it needs to do. Why pay monthly to rent, when you can use your own equipment. Cheaper in the long run.

I am coming from model#SB6190 which is the same manufacturer 1.4gb download speed. When I purchased this new Comcast modem model#SB8200 my download went up tremendously as well as the upload. Example would be that 719 download speed vs 949 dowload speed and my upload speed 6.2 vs 41.12.

We hope this has longevity with our mesh system. New to this brand

The modem works! I was renting one through cable company and this allows me to save on my monthly bill. The modem is compatible with my cable provider so it is a win-win. I would recommend you check with your company before purchasing. I have fast internet so it works great!

Needed a new cable modem to replace our old one phenomenal speeds

When you dont want to rent the cable company's modem... Arris covers all the bases... it does the job and they very rarely fail... if they do its YEARS later.

No issues with this modem since I bought it. I have it in a relatively open environment so it can breathe and not get overheated.

Recently upgraded to this modem to take advantage of the DOCSIS 3.1 features as my ISP requires it for the 1 G/bit speeds. After running multiple speed tests at non-peak hours I achieved up to 947 M/bit speeds. Only reasoning for the 4-star rating is the second Ethernet port does not work. If it turns out to be my own fault i'll up the star rating.

Surprised my husband with this, he had it in our cart so I ordered it! He wanted to update internet equipment for gaming and has noticed the improvement he wanted using this modem. We've been buying our own internet equipment for years and this one has been great so far!

It is a very good modem I suppose, because I didn't have any internet problems since I got it. I get the same speed as promised by my internet provider.

Seems to be doing the job but honestly, I don't know how to evaluate except that I'm getting internet and cable. It's a cheaper solution that getting the cable companies equipment and pay monthly for it.

Very easy to setup and the speed has been amazing.

Made my internet so fast. You can't use both ports on it. It allows link aggregation which you can double your link speed to your router but does not function as a router so you can only connect 1 router to your model.
