Excellent product and fully supported by Comcast / Xfinity. My internet speed went from about 250MBps to about 600MBps when I changed my older modem, DOCSIS3.0 model to this one

Works as it should. I have not had any issues with this and i have owned for over a year.

Had to change out because of a switch for Xfinity new protocol soon as I put this modem in place speed increase dramatically

I didn't wanna rent this from my ISP since it's way cheaper to buy. Pretty easy to set up and switching over from a different modem. Just call your ISP and give them the modem info, reset modem and your done

If you're looking for a modem that provides great speeds - this is it! The only downside is you have to be in an area where there's a cable company like Cox or Xfinity, and more importantly, an area where they have a gigabit set up.

Had a previous model that was 10 years old. Was having intermittent problems with constant internet speeds. This new replacement works great and have seen a significant improvement in my internet.

Works perfect and I don’t have to pay the cable company for an average device. Therefore I bought my own knowning the value of my product.

We had a Surfboard SB6141 prior to this, but it started having some connection problems because of congestion and a low channel count. Without upgrading our service or router, the SB8200 has nearly doubled the speed output our devices receive and doesn’t have any connection issues. It will also be able to handle increased speeds easily in the future. Expensive, but has been worth it so far.

Easy to connect. I wish it was a bit cheaper but works well.

Was great the year i used it. only issue with these is the resell value stinks. you pay $150 new but cant resell it $20.. But as far as the product goes it worked great

Works well with spectrum internet. Went with this one for gig internet on spectrum. Works great no complaints.

I'm using this modem with Spectrum's 400 speed package. No gigabit available here. It's been rock solid so far. Getting 400-500 speeds.

We purchased this when our previous unit (provided by the carrier) kept buffering. We haven't had a problem since installing it. Highly recommend.

I purchased this to replace Atlantic Broadband combo modem router I live in the city near a hospital so there’s wasn’t working good enough this keeps up and does so much better

I went to our local Best Buy to get a new modem. The salesman showed me one that wasn't so expensive but after I'd gotten up to the checkout, and while waiting for my turn, I started reading the back of the box. I realized there was a different one (the one I eventually bought) that I liked the description of better so I got out of line, went back and got it. It was much more expensive but we had so many reward points that it ended up only costing a little over $30!! Gotta love those reward points! What got my attention for buying this one is the lagging of streaming. We no longer have to sit waiting for the show to 'catch up' from lagging. My old modem was definitely burned out!

This was so east to set up! I was changing my internet provider and wanted my own modem & router. The company doesn't enter the home, so I had to set this up myself. It was SO easy and it's been working fine for almost a month.

Modem is great, easily gets the speeds it says. Don't like that the second ether port on the back doesn't really work well. When I try to use it, what is plugged in gets nothing and what is plugged into port one runs slow. But as long as you only use port one, it is great.

Not the flashiest modem out there, but it gets the job done at a reasonable price. I've had it up and running for over a month and have had no issues. What else would you want?

I have never rented modems and won't start anytime soon. This is the 3rd Modem I have purchased since moving to Oklahoma and each few years when I upgrade its worth it. Why would anyone rent a modem from the cable company. I always say you get what you pay for.
