I was just upgrading my Internet service so I needed a new modem obviously. I chose the Arris surfboard 32 X8 docsis 3.1 cable modem. To make my review short it was an excellent buy, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Easy to install with app or Comcast home app , type in modem address and done I am paying Comcast for 400 down and 20 up, I am getting 500 down and 24 up, what’s not to like

if you think your internet is not reaching its full capacity then this is the modem for you. not only did it improve my connection it took my gaming to another lvl. fast and uninterrupted internet for all your devices.

I have used all the surfboard modems thru the years, this is the first one I saw a real difference in speed and bandwidth with the modem being the only change

This modem was super easy to setup and seems to be very reliable. I highly recommend it.

I had to replace my old modem due to Comcast insisting on it. My son the tech genius recommended this one and it was Comcast compliant. Easy setup, works very well. No problems ever in the six months I’ve used it. This is a good one.

I had to upgrade my modem equipment from that provided by my service provider. This is a great piece of equipment works fine and I save money on the provide her rental cost.

This is basically the best modem you can buy unless you have extreme internet speeds (3-5gb+) or operate a business, etc. For 90% of homes though this is the one to get if you want fast internet that is also secure.

Easy install. Hooked up. Connected it thru spectrum online.. One thing is that at night the lights shine thru the holes on the side and it brightens up the room

Had to replace cable modem and this was cheaper than renting one for a year and much faster than that cable company device. Good time to get a different wireless setup too

This one works good. I hope it has more LAN ports.

Recently upgraded internet at the office to Gigabit (1000/35) requiring DOCSIS 3.1 modem. Purchased this as was on Cox's approved list for business accts. Averaging 925-950 down and 35-37 up so all seems to be well. Setup and provisioning took about 5 minutes.

I bought this arris modem because my new Mediacom fiber was randomly dropping for seconds, minutes, hours, or days. This modem did not fix that problem and Mediacom finally replaced the fiber-to-coax bridge outside my wall to resolve it. I did get to spend some quality time on Arris’ customer support line with a highly knowledgeable and well trained tech who gave me info and ideas that helped me get Mediacom to fix their problem. Plus, and the reason I am writing this review, he shared that he has this exact model at home.

I just got this set up like two weeks ago but it is as advertised. My wireless speeds are through the roof compared to before. I did cheat and have a professional set it up for me but I couldn't be happier.

We were looking for a modem to stop renting the one from the cable company. This worked perfectly and saves us the rental fee each month. You do have to activate with the cable provider once connected.

Super great and easy to use. Must have for college kids!!

Works great in Houston for Xfinity internet. Set up was a breeze with the Xfininty app. Highly recommend especially if you are working from home and homeschooling at the same time.

Not paying the cable company when I can get this and save thousands. Works great haven't had one issue does everything I need it to.

I upgraded to the 3.1 model because 4K streaming was not loading as fast and kept buffering. This improved the buffering times and provides faster speeds for my wireless router and to my desktop hardline.
