My Docsis 3.0 surfboard modem that i had for years fried on Christmas eve. Thankfully, i was able to run to BestBuy and get in and out on Christmas Eve to replace it. My only complaint with this model is that there are no "feet" to stabilize it, given the venting on the long sides, i don't want to have it laying down. My cats knock it over all the time.

Works great. Doubled my speed after replacing an old router.

Upgraded my internet connection with Cox and they gave me the option to buy my own cable modem instead of renting from them, this is the one they recommended. Great deal at BestBuy saving me money on the rental.

Great modem for the price. Setup wasn't working at first and had to call support for them to do something on their end. After that it works very well.

Easy way to avoid paying Comcast fees for the rest of your life. Running well after almost a year, just make sure to allow it to breathe (as you should all electronics).

I bought this to replace my Cox communications modem it worked excellent and has the docs 3.1 So you are able to get the higher speeds

So far so good. Wasn't getting speeds paid for with older modem. This one increased upload from 10 to 50. Download speeds are only marginally better. Thinking router is now the issue.

Simple to install in no time. Comcast person was very familiar with device and made the transition so much easier. After installation, provided equal to or better than previous Xfinity modem. Did already have wireless devices from Best Buy that provided great coverage.

It is the best modem we have purchased so far. We have had a few modems over the years but, this is the definitely the best we have had.

I recently cut the cord, and switched from all Comcast supplied equipment, including the cable modem/gateway. I wanted to make sure I got a unit that could handle the gig speed tier bandwidth I was paying for, and this unit definitely delivers on that requirement. Just a quick word about the 2 ports in the back. They are intended for separate addresses, so unless you have two discreet addresses coming from Comcast, don't use the 2nd port. Use one, or the other, or you will find the two connected devices fighting for the same single IP addresses that you typically get.

Worked right out of the box. Had a short conversation with a Comcast tech and while she was gathering information, it self intialized been working smoothly ever since.

Upgraded from the SURFboard 6141 to this model to obtain faster speeds. This modem works great, upgraded to the gigabyte plan with Comcast Xfinity and Speedtest show I’m able to obtain speeds around 940mbps.

Owned the modem for a few months now. Definitely holds the download speed I pay for.

Works Great. Was easy to set up. Works with STRATUSIQ / Falcon Broadband. Bought it on sell. It had more features then Higher priced modems. Can accommodate up to 10Gbit speed from an ISP. FUTURE PROOF.

Works great with my 1gb service with Mediacom. I tried a few other modems and this is the best one out there so far and is very reliable. I haven't had to reset it for a few months.

It was good for a few years but eventually caused problems. A good low budget device.

Easy to install and it works great with Comcast cable. They have direction with it you don't even have to call the cable company. You can do right on line and do it. About 5 minutes and your done love that part.

Works fine. Paired with an OpenWRT router. Easy to setup, took quite a while though, and has to reboot twice.
