This is the 2nd Arris Cable Modem that I have purchased. I had to upgrade as I increased my Internet Speed to 1 GB. You will save a lot of money by purchasing this instead of renting one from you cable provider.

So far so good as I have only had the product a little over a month. It was easy to setup and if it does as well as my last Arris 3.0 I well be very happy!

Bought this as an upgrade from an ARRIS surfboard 8x4 3.0. my old one was over 5 years old, once I upgraded my speeds went from 30 Mbps to over 200 Mbps. My plan is currently up to 200 Mbps.

I needed a new modem to accommodate the high speed internet in our new home, but I didn't want to rent one from Xfinity. So far, this modem has been a treat.

great unit that meets every thing i need, not to mention the size is awesome and easy to hide since it is so small, almost looks like a book on my book shelf.

This modem works like a charm. The old one has last for years and it fried due to a thunderstorm so I had to get a new one.

Easy to set up, so far works like a charm. Large, bright lights so you can easily see connection status.

The new Arris DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem is awesome. Rock solid steady performance is a hallmark. This modem made my entire network come alive. Achieving throughput that I hadn’t yet conceived,this device is a game changer.

Went from DOCSIS 3.0 to 3.1 due to speed limitations and this fixed my bandwidth issues. I wasn't getting about 300 Mbps as promised by my ISP using 3.0.

I had my last surfboard for five years and my cable technician told me it was time for a new one so I stuck with what I know. I’ve never had any issues. Very consistent in quality

This cable modem has performed flawlessly since it was installed. I’ve used it for nearly 1.5 years, and it handles high speed data plans with ease. I would recommend it.

Excellent Modem, I am replacing the same model from 5 yrs back that got damaged in lightning. Works great!! Good Buy!!

I replaced an older Surfboard CM820 with this SB8200, and there is DEFINITELY a noticeable speed difference. If you're considering getting one to replace an older modem, just do it. You won't regret it.

I had an older ARRIS modem that died. I really liked the performance with that modem that I replaced it with this one. It is a little bit more expensive but future proofs the technology.

It's a modem! what more can I say. It does its job and provides me more speed with the 3.1 DOCSIS than the Netgear that I had and it was 3.0 DOCSIS

Allows me to use the higher internet speed. We had some issues with computers being connected to my router but not having internet connectivity while other computers on the network had no issues. Seems to be working better now, don't know why.

First I bought the CM1000 & at the beginning it was good but only one week later it started giving problems. I got tried of it so I got the SB8200 & I’m so glad I did. The best.. I would highly recommend.

It was time to update our modem; our previous one had been with us for over 6 years (practically part of the family!) The clerk pointed us to this, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Easy, reliable, and quick as a bunny!

It was such an easy connection for me to do. We had the same unit, 3.0 then our internet upgrades to 3.1. That's why we got our new unit.
