Posted .Hello ElizabethB! Thanks so much for taking the time to provide a review and feedback on your experience with your Blink Mini camera! I am so sorry to hear that you are having trouble getting your camera to record everything that you want it to. There is a chance that you can troubleshoot this some within the device's settings within your Blink smartphone app. If you tap the 3 dots icon located within the preview of your Blink camera, and then navigate to Device Settings then you can check on the device's Motion Sensitivity. This will get your device to trigger motion events more frequently causing it to record more often. If this does not assist in resolving your issue, then I would recommend contacting us directly at Blink Customer Support via the Contact Us link in the Help Menu under Settings. I would advise that you do this while onsite with your camera for the best troubleshooting capabilities. I do hope this gets you the assistance you need and that you have an amazing day!

I use these as a kinda doggy camera. And for that purpose it does the job well. The microphone works. As my dogs respond when i talk to them. Not sure of the quality for the sound though. The night vision on these is not terrible. I can make out the items in the office and the dogs. But these are not 4k. So dont expect the clearest picture youve ever seen. Setup in the app is pretty straight forward. You can get a free 30 day trial to the cloud service. After that. You have to pay PER camera. Unless you also buy the sync module and then add a USB stick. And you can have local recording. For an in door monitoring camera. These are very good for the price. You can setup schedules. Areas to monitor and also not monitor. Note to Home Assistant users. These are, at this time, not capable of having live video feeds on our dashboards. It can be integrated. And notifications sent. But no video feed

I have several already at home. They work alright. You get 1 month subscription for free. If you don't sign up for the subscription, which is only $10 a month for up to 10 cameras, than you can do live view, but nothing gets recorded. You can buy a sync module to record videos if you want free video recordings
