And when you just want to watch the live stream it cuts off after 30 seconds. And whats with this subscription plan stuff now with these cameras. I have an older one outside where i watch a live stream all day long if i want and dont have to pay to save my videos.

Must by Sync2 Module if you dont want to have them spy on you 24/7 but dont worry, the sync module and doorbell will crash all the time especially if you use a VPN. Decent cameras though for catching walkers and stalkers

It allows me to check in on the house whenever I feel the need. It will also notify me of motion in the house. I have it 3-stars because the image quality could be better.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Camera worked well in the beginning except for the fact it had a really loud background noise every time you would watch through the cameras and try to hear the audio. Also, there is a trial period for the cameras. After 30 days you have to pay for subscription which makes the cameras only live feed without purchasing. After about a month the device stopped working entirely and will no longer power on. Very unfortunate.

Most smart security cameras from most brands do require a subscription typically in order to utilize cloud storage for the device to record videos for later viewing. We keep the cost of this camera extremely competitive to maintain the value it offers while keeping the subscription optional for people who want to take advantage of this as well as additional premium features that come along with the subscription. Blink does sell a Sync Module that you could use with a USB flash drive (sold separately) in order to be able to store videos locally and not require the subscription for viewing recorded events.
