I didn3 know tou had to subscribe for it to work. After trial, I can't even use it unless i subscribe and pay a free ever month. If i knew that, I would have chosen something else. Very unhappy because it should have had it on the package that you have to buy a subscribe. Thanks fir nothing a wate of money

We are constantly working to improve upon our lineup of cameras and services for our customers to have the best value and experience so we take any and all feedback like yours into consideration always. Your Blink Mini Indoor camera is our entry level device in the lineup and is priced at a tremendous value compared to the competitive landscape. Out of the box, it does have an easy plug and play set up that allows for ease of install, setup, and use with the Blink smartphone app. You can use it as a live camera without any subscription fee in order to get motion alerts and to be able to drop in and check on the surrounding with 1080p video and 2 way audio. This makes it a great camera for pets, babies, or just to drop in quickly and check on surroundings. There is a subscription for recordings amongst other features that allows for cloud storage of your video recordings since this device does not have a local storage option included. There is a Blink Sync Module XR that is sold separately that allows for a local storage option through the use of a microSD card as well. I am sorry for any confusion there may have been on storage options and video recordings. But I do hope this helps give you some options and uses that could improve your experience some and I hope you have a terrific day!

Doesn't run your energy bill up very accurate as long as its tooken care of. Not a waste of money, worth every dime!
