I have a super cheap $10 camera in my apartment now, but it's a bit bulky and I live in manhattan with not a lot of counter space. So I bought this camera since it's tiny and you can easily mount it on the wall. However, the app sucks. My cheap $10 camera was way better. First of all the image is SO grainy and blurry. But also, you open the app and it shows nothing, you have to click that you want a live view.... which like.... obviously if I'm opening my camera app I want to see my apartment.... why else would I be opening it. And then on top of that, unless I just can't figure it out, you can't seem to move the camera from your app. My old camera I could move in whatever direction, but it seems this camera you have to pre-move it to where you want it to be, and that's all you get. No moving it around to view different angles from the app. Also, mounting it has proven to be a huge pain, it seems simple but it's always awkward angled. Sucks that we're in the middle of a pandemic and I have to figure out how to return this junk.
