The included USB cable is a generous 6 feet long — perfect if your power outlet is mounted halfway up the wall like some kind of architectural prank. Marketed as “wireless” (because Wi-Fi, I guess), these still need to be constantly plugged in. So if your dream aesthetic is “security camera awkwardly bolted into your drywall at eye level,” congratulations — you’ve found your soulmate.

While the cable provided is 6' in length, we do pride ourselves on the extremely competitive value of this device's price when compared to all competitors in its class. You could look into options of a 3rd party micro-USB to USB cord that sells separately as a possible solution as long as the micro-USB plug will fit into the slot in the back. This could give you a way to maintain the low cost value of the camera while giving it more length. We do also have an Outdoor Blink camera that is fully battery operated that can still be mounted inside if you would like the option to install it higher up without the need for a cord at all. Now only 9 months later it won't connect to my network and tech support says I have to pay $55 one time fee to update the software. What a scam. Will never purchase a product from them again.

So now I have three cameras that will be going to e-waste, my advice go with another brand.

It is almost impossible and will mess up what you do have connect. Consumer support is not very good. I have 6 outdoor cameras and 3 tilt and pan cameras, all now sitting in a box.

This one has never recorded motion consistently or properly. It all seems setup fine. Its been reset, re connected, updated, factory defaults... just does what it wants. Same goes for my other ones. Really seems like junk. Im done replacing and working on these. Trying something new.

Essentially the first month allows recordings to save so you can watch them at your convince. After the free trial you have to pay monthly for the feature. I bought this to watch my dog since he was escaping from his kennel at night. Well its not helpful if I can only see live and cant see the recordings the next morning. Not happy and not usable.

It doesn’t Work properly in Brasil, don’t have a good support. The vídeos just appeared in the app after a few minutes and cant make a live surveillance. Completely sad about that

The distance was less than 20 feet and clear line of sight. The interface is so poorly designed that for THREE YEARS people have been BEGGING for AMAZON to create a desktop app to support the cameras. This goes ignored (like their customers). I took these back within 24 hours because they were so bad.
