Hard to trust
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The instructions for installing your Apple Watch into this protective case make it very clear that a small error will result in the case not working. As a result I took my time and followed the instructions very carefully, did the suggested test with the dummy watch, and I am pretty sure I installed the real watch correctly. However, when it came time to jump in the water I chickened out and left the watch out of the water. I was paranoid that maybe the installation wasn't 100% right. As a result I decided to return the product. It was supposed to provide peace of mind, not paranoia. When installed, the watch and watch band are substantially larger than the usual Apple Watch. This didn't end up bothering me much during my vacation, but I wouldn't want to wear it in my normal day-to-day. It's too large.

I ultimately just decided to go buy a series 2 watch that is water proof. I kept my series 1 so I may still use this for that one

The first time I bought the case it lasted about a year before the skin came off the back. The case still held strong and protected the watch, but I decided to replace it anyway.
