Tried everything to revive it to no avail. I am surprised it would just suddenly quit working after 6 months but it will not transfer any signal what-so-ever!

Just opened it and the cable has a bad connection. Tried a different cable and everything worked fine, tried this one again, and the screen flickered and the connection interrupted.
