I bough this Garmin GPS Just to try but I was a little disappointed so I brought it back to Best Buy for exchage to Tom Tom which I really like- easy to follow navigation.

i live in CALIF not Arizona . it over heated I think and drove me in circles for 30 min. it was lost when i put in an address it does not stay i dont need to be told about every school zone and curves? comeon

Nice clear screen. But if you can’t take the route it wants, it keeps wanting you to turn around . Also, it had me “leave the road” & we were in a city. My phone found the address. Not dependable.

I love this gps and enjoy using it on the road....

I recently purchased this item for my labor day trip to NY from NC, the GPS got us lost a couple times and then one time, it just shut off, and it was charging..i will keep to try it again, not sure if I would buy another

This purchase was made by me for my girlfriend for her new car. I do not know how well it is working for her. I guess that it is working OK or she would have told me and we would have brought it back

The screen is not to bright, and is very difficult to read..and almost impossible to read with sunglasses on. The Garman provides "too much" information, which is useless if you have difficulty reading the screen.

Bought this for my mother to replace her older Garmin which had stopped working. However, the menu's on this one were not intuitive at all, it kept forgetting addresses we saved, and would power off if not plugged in. We ended up returning.

We returned this item as we discovered it did not have traffic updates. Was bought for my mother who was doing alot of traveling. She needed the traffic alerts which this did not have.

Doesn't come with an instruction manual to explain all of the beeps and noises. I don't trust the windshield mount that it came with and would have preferred a weighted dashboard mount.

Had the unit 2 weeks and it died. Got a black screen then never restarted. Thinking it’s just a faulty unit. I haven’t tried to return it yet because I live 60 plus miles from the store. Will soon.

This unit drops its satellite coverage all the time. I have it on the dash of my truck and when my truck is headed in any direction the unit drops satellite signal regularly.

When driving from one coast to the other, its better to rely on your phone GPS. This system sent us through states we didnt need to, and didnt forwarn about toll roads

Works great but should have spent a little more for a model that has traffic alerts. If you are looking for a basic bargain navigation tool this is good.

Much more difficult to program multi stop trips than my old Nuvi. We just completed a long road trip and tried to use the gps. Several times it tried to have us turn inexplicably off the main road between two cities; twice onto unpaved roads up a mountain? I ended up once grabbing my iPhone and using Waze to find a way to our hotel. Searching for a location reverts from the city you wanted to a two or three state area and then it would find a place far away from your intended location. I may see if I can return this.

From the first use, the screen kept freezing! Had to return for an exchange. Disappointed as I changed from a TomTom to this as TomTom was no longer available

further research indicated a cheaper price, some significant, than I paid. However do like Bet Buy organization and employees.

It was missing a part and, upon reflection, we decided that the GPS on phone is completely sufficient. To Best Buys credit, returning the item was easy-peasy.

I bought this device as a backup for our travels out west, for when we would be out of reach of cellphone towers and not able to access the GPS functionality on the smartphone in a conventional manner. For some reason, this device was giving us phantom directions when we were on the highway, telling to make turns on local streets for whichever town we were passing by. It would correct itself soon after. Seems like a fairly fundamental issue with the product.
