Posted .When a device won’t power on a soft reset often resolves the issue. Connect the device to a power source with a USB cable, vehicle power cable, or an AC adapter. Press and hold the power button for 10 to 15 seconds. After the device powers on, fully charge the battery. Bought it for a trip to OK for two weeks, and would have returned it but our 14 day grace period was up. Also no Best Buys close to where we were staying. For the price absolutely would not recommend

Best Buy recommended the Garmin over I believe the other alternative called Toms. The Garmin never worked in our car. It kept requiring installation of something called Garmin express off of Garmin's website, and that installation didn't work with my wife's iPhone 7. So we tried for two weeks but a lost cause. The Garmin worked fine in our house but not when plugged into the car! And our car is a 2014 model so not old.
