i purchased this garmin gps for my work truck. As i travel all over eastern new york state i can load all of my job site location into the gps.

this is my first garmin gps and I am very happy with it. it is easy to use and it informs you of up coming places to stop if need be.

We've had On star for nine years now and use it for traveling. We were flying to Portland and obviously couldn't take on star with us! The downside to on star! So we bought this Garmin which was on sale and at the recommendation of the Best buy associate. OMG... This thing is Awesome and in my opinion far out performed on star! In fact we are "Cancelling" on star and only going to use this! Wish we had this model years ago, it would have saved us over $4,000.00 ... You just can't believe all the features it has! That on star Doesn't!!!

I purchased this Garmin for a friend who delivers Meals on Wheels and is always looking for streets. She was so excited with this Garmin because it was easy to use, displays colorful maps, tells her how fast she is going, and beeps when she is going over the speed limit. What? This Garmin has everything you need to find your way around town or plan that next driving vacation. She loves it also because it is easy to operate. I would recommend this Garmin to anyone who needs directions to a location.

I'm still trying to figure out how to save locations and use this Garmin Dr. 5ILM from my old Garmin nuvi 260. I am still trying to figure how to use this Garmin. I hope it won't be a long I hope.

The Garmin GPS is a fantastic item. It is easy to use, accurate, and has worked very well. I would recommend it for all users.

I was sad to find out my gps had been stolen, and I needed a new one for my cruise coming up next month and wanted to get one with lifetime updates!! You cant beat the price for the size and the fact i wont have to pay for any updating. Great price!! Great gps!!! Cant go wrong with a Garmin! (Gave 4 stars only based on i havent traveled with it yet, only used it locally. Not sure how it is with recalculating and such yet)

My grandson loves it..tells him when someone is too close or he's too close, directions are perfect, clear speaking.

This system is very easy to setup and use. Its compact size makes it great for carrying from car to car as needed.

The GPS was large enough to be clearly seen at required mounting point. Gave clear directions except for a few minor errors.

Although I have a GPS system in my car, this is FAR better. Clear instructions, notifies you of upcoming changes in speed limits, gives suggestions for gassing up, etc. All in all one of the best GPS units I've ever owned.

It's easy to use and the lifetime map updates are essential for a GPS. I have purchased Garmin before and prefer it over other brands.

I love my new gps because it has map updates on it unlike my old gps. It gives great directions and has really great features on it!
