Great basic GPS

I like to use my GPS as a hand held when walking around in a strange city, and found the battery life very short for this use. Also found the scroll function difficult to use, doesn't stay where I scroll to and zooms automatically.

I have a GPS built into my car, however the directions it gave were not the quickest or shortest so I bought this one. it cut my driving time to NH by over an hour. telling you what lanes to be in when exiting Interstates has saved me a lot of headaches, Love the Garmin and the voice giving the directions is pleasant without being annoying. love this product and at less then $100 is totally affordable.
