It actually works as well or better than the one that is factory installed in other vehicle, is a whole lot more user friendly, has lifetime map updates and didn't cost near as much as factory installed unit.

I was in upstate NY, came to a bridge that was closed for repairs. The road had no detours signs. as soon as i started to back out the GPS, gave me the work around the bridge. Excellent job

It wasn't able to calculate arrival time accurately due to the time zone change but that was not a big deal.

I recommend updating the mapping and software with the device in order to ensure the best arrival time accuracy. This can be done with Garmin Express, here: www.garmin.com/express.

Better than my last Garmin

The support holder is rather useless in my car as it doesn’t hold well to the surfaces of my dash. Still, it is a good location finder.

Of course, it was a different model and we had to learn how to get around on it, but it was worth it. Something about a GPS that's better/easier than google maps.
