The best part of this GPS has to be the screen size. I have used in all times of the day and the screen is just perfect. I would recommend this unit to anyone that needs a GPS!

I went looking for a TomTom because that is what I was used to but so far the Garmin has been just as reliable.

Bought this to replace an old unit in my work van. I travel a lot and appreciate how precise it is. I can type in odd addresses and it still finds them. My old GPS wouldn't do that or would get me lost. Love this new unit.

My last Garmin lasted over 10 years but memory was limited to 4GB. So far this is easy to use. I have not had to read the instructions in order to get where I want to go.

As a first time user of a GPS I was a little intimidated by the technology but I found it to be very simple to operate and it did a great job on a trip to New Orleans. I continue to use it to get around town all the time.

This was a gift for my parents and they absolutely love it! It works great and gets them to where they need to go. They had an older version but the updates didn’t work anymore. Would def recommend!

Different than my first so had to get used to some changes but it's easy to understand and use.

I love everything about this except for the search function. Finding an address out of your local area requires jumping through more hoops than a circus act. Fine if you're driving in your local area, a real pain if you're not. The Bluetooth is great and using your phone is easy with excellent sound quality. Being able to access information in your smartphone is also a real plus. Driver alerts are excellent. The Smartlink app is a real battery killer. Drained my phone battery is less than 8 hours. Normally I go two - three days before charging.

Works well for patrol use tells me streets coming up and streetsI am on. Powers on well and runs good with the car charger provided. Reasonable price point and has good dimming feature for night shift.

Great to have along on a trip - we don't have that type pf phone. It is amazing how this know all that is going n - traffic, detour speeds....very accurate.

Great graphics and ease of use, however, device does not hold a charge. Has to be plugged into the 12V.

Lots of improvements over my 2555 model. One problem that I have is that the battery doesn't hold a charge. I will take it back & get a new unit or battery for it. No big deal...

My wife loves this garmin and would recommend to everyone

I gave my parents a garmin for their travels, their old GPS device would take them weird routes, I like the lifetime maps and updates. They say they love the product and it's much better than their previous version.

Received this as a Christmas gift to replace a older model and this is much improved from the old device. If you're looking for a stand alone GPS device I would recommend this one.

This GPS is lightweight, and easy to use. However taking it off of the dash requires some getting used to. The mount is different than previous garmin mounts I've had.

Very dependable GPS has gotten me through a lot of roads that I would not have if I did not have it recommended to anyone to buy this it is a good machine and I will keep on getting Garmin appliances

I have enjoyed using the Garmin - Drive 51 LM GPS. I have an older Garmin device but this one I like better. The improvements are all to my liking. The transition to the new device was very easy.

Love it ! Just really small but that’s not a big deal !
