Works Fine but Became Unstable after One Year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Drive 51 LM 5" GPS worked fine the first year - providing navigation when you don't have access to mobile phone network. It is very useful when you are travelling out of the town in remote areas such as many of the national parks. All you need to do is to update your GPS unit with the latest map before an extended trip. However, this past summer, after one year, the GPS became unstable. From time to time, it would turn itself off unexpectedly even when it's connected to power via the USB cable. Some time you can turn it back on, but some time you can't. Essentially I was not able to turn it on during the second half of a trip. Not sure if it has something to do with the pressure when we were in the mountains, but I was able to turn it back on after I returned to home. It could be a problem with just this unit, but I really don't know.
