This a replacement for my older Garmin nuvi. Works great and love the lifetime maps, wish my old one had that feature.

Haven't had a chance to use it much, but so far seems good. It is basic, which is what i wanted, but has some nice features

Intuitive interface, updates are easy, directions are clear enough. A solid buy.

Not as good as the Nuvi model I replaced but it gets the job done. Pros...Simple, seems to do well with upcoming lane changes. Though a little touchy and kind of a pain to make any major changes, it does have the ability to edit the route you want to take. No more having to just pass up the exit it wants you to take and wait on it to recalculate. Cons...The address search, unlike the Nuvi, you have to set the desired city in a totally different setting rather than while you type in the address. You type in house number and street then it just searches for anything with that combo, takes forever and half the time doesn't give you what your wanting, really annoying. Overall...Its a good basic GPS, will get you where to you need to go, but definitely prefer the older Nuvi models.

Just used this on a 1500 mile round trip. It helped us find gas, restaurants, and basic directions. What more do you want?

We used this gps going to Houston an back home an love it!we like it especially because it tell u wat lanes to get in very helpful!

Very helpful for a long drive. Would tell me to turn at either the traffic light or stop sign.

I bought this GPS for my dad due to father day. He totally loves it ... Its easy to use and has many useful features with clear LCD.

Helps maintain GPS maps and locations. Great to be able to have life time map upgrades as areas continuously develop.

I love the fact I'm able to get uninterrupted directions on my GPS which allows me to use my cell phone for other things.

These work great. We use these when we go on trips so we bought a spare to use at home. The lifetime maps is a plus.

Garmin Drive 51 LM 5" GPS is ok for most part. It sometimes gets stuck on a road and not able to get us to our destination. Some of these roads and landmarks are not new, They are part of Boston & Philly for years with no changes. If you do not know the cities, this Garmin GPS model won’t get you to some of the city’s destinations. I would recommend this Garmin GPS model due to it does take you to most of the destinations.

gets you places you need to go to in a hurry, never get lost, better than a smart phone

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for my mother in law. She likes it a lot, easy for her to use.

I sent this to my brother for Christmas last year. He had a tom Tom and was always complaining about the costs of updates. I’ve never had to pay for updates and I’ve been a hard core Garmin user for years. It hasn’t steered me off a cliff yet! Love the options and it doesn’t butcher in pronunciation. I think this will last him longer than his truck!

Love it. it gives you turn by turn direction. Very easy to use. I love the trip advisor very handy.

Great gps. It's alot better than using my phone. Haven't had any trouble out of it.

My Garmin GPS is great for directions anywhere. Did a lot of out of town driving using this GPS and always gave good directions.
