    I've had experience with Garmin before and was impressed. We purchased this model for the additional features our previous one didn't have. In particular, we wanted the split screen view that shows the particular lane you need when you are approaching an off-ramp with muliple lanes. The speed limit indicator is very nice too.

    This new base model Garmin 51 GPS has a lot of enhanced features from my last unit purchased over 5 years ago. It was totally worth the $115 that I paid for it in terms of the voice prompts and the graphic representation of lane changes on freeways for one example.

    I've used this GPS for a while now and it is solid. It has gotten me to locations without issue. The one con of this GPS is that it needs to be plugged in consistently to the lighter in your vehicle to stay on.

    Easily located in the store and was greeted by very nice sales person who explained the product and was familiar with its use. easily installed while still in the parking lot of the store. Used inclosed instructions to download necessary information into GPS from my computer. quite satisfied with this Garmin GPS
