I bought this as a gift. I used it very briefly. I decided to set it up so the end-user wouldn't have to do it. I appreciated the screen size of the GPS. It did tempt me to buy one for myself.

Make sure you are able to update it PRIOR to taking it out on the road for the first time. Oh & you can NOT update it with a chrome notebook as it NEEDS windows platform to do such.

Helpful when you don’t have unlimited data and are taking a road trip, just make sure you update it before trips. Touch screen response isn’t the best.

If you directions for a trip this gps will work great, but if you have to constantly look for new direction, be prepare because it is a little slow on response.

Love the Garmin brand but the only issue I have every once in a while will not turn on have to hold down power button to restart. First one that has done this.

I needed a GPS for work and this definitely fits the bill. At my job it's very important that I know the roads at a moment's notice and this gives me plenty of heads up while I'm driving.

Love the way it gives a signal when speed limit changes. Also like the way it recalculates when you want to deviate from the suggested route. Very clear about describing what route to take in busy areas.

Bought for husband for Christmas! It was an upgrade for his older model garmin and he loves it. Definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of upgrading or looking for a gps. Thanks Best Buy!

I was having some difficulties typing with big finger nails. I didn't have problems with my old Garmin GPS. Charging for the first time took forever but it works just fine without any problems.

Worked like I expected. Sometimes would go off the map and direction it was showing. It only happened a couple of times. Overall I found it to be a good purchase.

Works well. Use daily. Had one with voice command now this one. The only thing I miss still not worth the money to upgrade

This is my 4th Garmin since 2007 and the quality of the GPS gets better and better. I really like the additional things it tells you, it's amazing how far these units have come over the years.

Most phones nowadays are better and faster than this product. It works fine and can find any location you type in but might not be the most optimal route. Also, the interface very slow to update the screen whether you’re typing or even sometimes driving. Unless you’re on a limited data phone plan and drive a lot, or buying for someone who doesn’t have a smartphone, you’re better off using your favorite maps app.

Garmin GPS battery life does not last..even after being fully charged the product seem to die in a few minutes

this is a good GPS navigator but even though the map updates were downloaded prior to using in vehicle, it still gets some directions a bit mixed up

I bought this product to replace a horrible Tom Tom I had, and it was a good purchase. No more random shutting down, and the keyboard actually works, unlike the Tom Tom. I am very happy with this product.

Battery does not charge well and doesn't keep the charge making the walk around function useless. Need more voice options

I needed to replace an aging Garmin for my wife's car. She didn't need voice command or phone connectivity, etc...Just driving directions. This little unit has made her happy, so I'm happy!

With lifetime maps, speedometer/speed limits and warning functions, this GPS is better than plain basic. Good value for the price I paid.

Nice GPS large screen but it does recalute fast enough and more than once it said I was were I was suppose to be and I wasn't .
