We chave had the predecessor to this for 6 years. Well the power button broke, then it started rebooting on it's ow, Went with what we knew & not disappointed. The larger screen makes it more comfy to be sure your on the right track. recommend HIGHLY!!!

This Garmin was given as a gift to my friend who travels a ton... he loved it! GPS systems are only as good as the map updates and this one has new roads added frequently. This should last him for years and I am happy we found it for him!

As always Garmin has come through again with another excellent product. My last one was almost 15 years old and was stolen out of my car. This one is even better. Only negative is it doesn't have a SD card. LOL I can live without that.

Our Tom Tom died. We tried to upgrade the software on line. It was too old. We searched for a new one and found the Garmin. It has become our new friend and the maps update for life. This is a great friend to take along with you on a trip.

We are retired and use this Garmin exclusively for vacation type travel, both domestically and in Europe. It is easy to set up, adjust and update, just follow the instructions. An excellent value with strong reliability.

I have not been able to use the Garmin Drive 61 LM 6.1 since I purchased it on October 15, 2017. I did not receive the short connection to connect the Garmin to my computer. Nothing works without that connection. I would recommend it to a friend if they received all the parts.

I purchased this device to use when I used a rental car to travel. It's great improvement over previous models I've purchased. I love the way you input the address. The old models required separate fields for state, city etc. Here you input the address as you write it and the unit searches and gives you choices to select. The lane information along with a photo of the lanes is great for me. The alerts for speed limit changes saved me from a ticket the first time out. Couldn't find find any shortcomings with it.

Great item (larger screen size)at a decent price! Bought on line for Christmas gift for relative who does a lot of traveling and needs a good “navigator” when her son is not with her! Will get her action review next!

Garman GPS In the last several weeks we’ve had to replace this product three times. We finally went to the next upgrade. For some reason this particular Garman we have now is working better however our previous garments we’re stopping directions and turning themselves off. Time will tell if this will still work. If this does not work we will switch GPS to another company. Reason we have this GPS is for rental car use. Are two cars to have GPS that works.!

Very convenient and easy to use, light and great for doing work

It has so many features like the speed limit posted, when you go over the speed limit even a few miles over it turns red to remind you to slow down. It has a big screen for easy viewing and you can hook up a back up camera to it

Bought this as a christmas gift for elderly parents who have been in the habit of writing directions for every place they go. They LOVE their garmin and wanted to know "how the lady in the box knew there was a stop sign".

Bought this unit to replace an outdated Magellan maestro. Totally amazed by the technology they have now tells me when there's a corner coming up deer Crossings if I'm speeding excellent unit well worth the money

It's simple to use. I haven't had any problems with glare, or time delays causing me to miss an exit. The only potential downside is it doesn't have traffic monitoring. I'll be adding the backup camera soon.

In theory this is a great Garmin. Unfortunately, it is not dependable. It refuses to come on at times and you have to charge it 24 hours before you can get it to work again. I wonder if that’s a problem with all Garmin products..at least that is what I read online after we returned it. I need to be able to rely on a gps ..and for it not to come on even though you have it hooked up to an energy source is not acceptable. We were lost at night because it refused to turn on.

This is my 2nd Garmin, it is easy to use and much easier to see since it has a larger screen. I really like the "Red light" camera warning and the ability to know where fuel and food is on the highway.
