brought a new one to get canada map, and not able to download any new maps

This unit works as described and no issues so far.

I did have issues with it recognizing specific addresses of place, but it would locate them by business name. Never gotten lost using it despite the fact that even my home address is incorrectly listed as “arriving at destination on right” even through I live on the left side of the street.

Love the bigger screen. Good value for the price.

I purchased this to travel the US. I've visited three states thus far and this Garmin has not failed me. I love the add'l notifications for gas stations,nearby restaurants, etc. I, also, was very surprised or just lucky that it worked traveling through the Shenandoah mountain; I did not lose service once--that was a plus.

Perfect for traffic and short cuts to get on time.

Great GPS which was on sale. Salesman was helpful.

I wanted to see if a larger screen and dedicated GPS would be helpful, and certain aspects worked well, such as the larger screen and change lanes. I think my need for real time traffic still trumps some of these features however.

I was traveling across the country and thought I had a good GPS. Some of the features did not work as shown. I missed a connection because it instructed late. Multi lane function did not work all the time.

I hope it lasts longer than the last garmin I bought

The only drawback is, I am a beginner at trying to use a GPS. So far, I don't fully understand what it is capable of providing. I am up in age and unfortunately, not up top date with he Electronic Age. I needed a way to find my way back home should I get lost.

It works well but I bought the wrong one the first time. I wanted the 61 that was 6.95" & this one was the same as the 6' model I bought a few years ago with a few upgrades. I exchanged it for the 6.95" model (with no difficulty) & am very happy.

I researched the different manufacturers and models and bought the one that fits my needs and reviewed well. Am very satisfied. Maps and directions displayed well. Surrounding attractions application very nice. All around great GPS. Garmin's Drive 61lm

Bought a TomTom for a long trip. It was terrible. Thank god we were able to find a Best Buy along the way and to return it and bought this one. So glad it is 100 times better. No connection issues so we were confident of where we were going. Would absolutely recommend.

Garmin - Drive 61 LM 6.1" GPS with Lifetime Map I ended up returning this GPS. I found my old one so this wasn't needed. The one I found was about 6 years old and the same brand. It still worked well.

This gps is pretty good, it letd you know about fueling stations and restaurants coming up on the interstate. It also has info on landmark locations and business so you dont necessarily have to google them on your phone first.

I had to go back to Best Buy three times . First unit was defective, I wasn't given the right wall charging cable for the unit and for some instruction; however, it did get me to my destinations much easier with the lane assists etc.

It steered me wrong twice, but maybe that's because I didn't read the directions for this model before using it. I am happy with the features, especially the warning beep when the speed limit changes approaching and leaving towns.

My wife and I bought a new GPS to replace the one that have had for a few years. We discovered that we like our new model very much. In fact our plan is to give a one to some of the people on our Christmas list.

I like the red light warnings. I use it daily for work.
